With the rapid development of China’s economy,e-commerce and online shopping,the express logistics industry has developed very rapidly.However,with its development,there are also many new challenges.One of the thorny problems is that the existing express logistics services of the customer-centered express logistics enterprises can not better meet the needs of the rapid development of the e-commerce and the needs of consumers for high-quality express logistics services.How to further improve the express logistics service level is crucial to the short-term competition and long-term development of express logistics enterprises in the express logistics market.In order to further improve the express logistics service level to better serve the consumer market and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises,on the one hand,it needs the efforts of the express logistics enterprises to coordinate with the external delivery chain participants,and on the other hand,it also needs the efforts of the express logistics enterprises to optimize the internal logistics network.At the same time,a set of “internal and external integration” system research on improving the service level from the standpoint of express logistics enterprises has not yet been formed in the academic and industrial circles to meet the needs of the orderly development of express logistics enterprises.In view of this,from the standpoint of express logistics enterprises and for the purpose of improving the service level of express logistics,the research on the following two sub dimensions(“external coordination” and “internal optimization”)has been carried out: that is,to study how express logistics enterprises improve the express logistics service level through the coordination of external delivery chain and how to improve the express logistics service level through the optimization of internal logistics network.Research on delivery chain coordination and network optimization for improving the service level of express logistics enterprises has been carried out,mainly including:(1)From the sub dimension of “external coordination”,how express logistics enterprises coordinate the express logistics delivery chain to improve the service level of express logistics is studied.Firstly,the coordination of express logistics delivery chain for unilateral service level improvement is studied.Consider the express logistics delivery chain consisting of express logistics enterprises,front-end e-commerce and final consumers.Under the influence of the express logistics service level on the total logistics market amount and the unit logistics cost structure,the decision-making model of express logistics delivery chain under different power structures is established.The optimal decisions of express logistics enterprises under different power structures are analyzed.Taking the centralized decision-making scenario as the coordination benchmark,the “UC”coordination mechanism and “UCR” coordination mechanism under different power structures are designed,and the coordination optimization models are established respectively.Taking an express logistics enterprise as an example,the numerical analysis is carried out,and the sensitivity analyses of some key parameters are carried out.Finally,from the sub dimension of “external coordination”,the operation and management suggestions to improve the service level of express logistics enterprises are provided.(2)From the sub dimension of “external coordination”,on the basis of the previous part of research,the coordination of express logistics delivery chain for the improvement of multilateral service level is studied,so as to study how express logistics enterprises can achieve the improvement of express logistics service level through the coordination of express logistics delivery chain in more complex scenarios.The express logistics delivery chain consisting of front-end e-commerce,middle-end express logistics enterprises,end outlets and final consumers.At the same time,considering the impact of end-point participation,different power structures and the impact of multilateral service levels on the unit logistics cost structure,the decision-making models of express logistics delivery chain under different power structure scenarios in more complex scenarios are established,and the optimal decisions of express logistics enterprises under various scenarios are analyzed.Taking the optimal scenario of centralized decision-making as the coordination benchmark,a new “CL” coordination mechanism is designed,and a coordination optimization model is established.Taking an express logistics enterprise as an example,the numerical analysis is carried out,and the sensitivity analyses of some key parameters are carried out.Finally,from the sub dimension of “external coordination”,the operation and management suggestions to improve the service level of express logistics enterprises are given.(3)From the sub dimension of “internal optimization”,how to optimize the express logistics network to improve the express logistics service level has been further studied.The optimization of express logistics network for service level improvement is studied.How to optimize the express logistics network to improve the service level of express logistics is analyzed.On the basis of the investigation of express logistics enterprises,combined with the actual situation,more realistic factors are refined.Taking the minimum total express flow logistics service time of the entire express logistics network as the objective function,a network optimization model for service level improvement is established.In order to solve the model efficiently in large-scale real scenes,a “HHALNS” heuristic optimization method is proposed.Taking an express logistics enterprise as an example,the numerical analysis is carried out,and the sensitivity of some key parameters is analyzed.Finally,from the sub dimension of “internal optimization”,the operation and management suggestions to improve the service level of express logistics enterprises are given.Through this study,it will provide some practical significance for express logistics enterprises to improve the express logistics service level from the two sub dimensions of“external coordination” and “internal optimization” in the actual operation and management.At the same time,help it enrich and improve the theoretical system of“internal and external integration” for improvings the express logistics service level.
