The Evolution Of Media Communication From The Perspective Of Informatics And The Future Development Of Intelligent Communication

The intelligent technologies represented by big data,artificial intelligence,blockchain,and cloud computing not only set off a new revolution as intelligent communication in the field of human media information communication,but also prompted practitioners and researchers to systematically think about the transformation activities and evolution laws of human media information communication activities,from the development stage of "mass media communication-social media communication-intelligent media communication".Intelligent communication is not only an important part of the whole human media communication evolution,but also the future destination and goal of it.Therefore,"media communication evolution" and "future intelligent communication" are two-sided research issues of this topic.This research takes "media communication evolution" as the core issue and "future intelligent communication" as the final foothold.Firstly,it attempts to answer the practical question as what changes and evolution laws that human media information communication activities will follow in the typical three-step development processes from mass communicaion to intelligent communication.Secondly,on this basis,this study will also form a more comprehensive outline and scientific prediction of the future intelligent communication landscape.Based on the complementary perspective of the relevant theories in informatics to the study of the evolution framework of media communication,this study regards human media information communication activities as a complex multi-level interactive system,and divides it into three main levels: the information communication process at the ontology level of information communication,the communication control at the cognitive level of information communication,and the communication effect at the value level of information communication.Thus,the complex research issue of "media communication evolution" is decomposed into four specific sub-questions: Firstly,what is the evolution paradigm of human media information communication as a whole? Secondly,how does the communication process,as the first level of the media communication system,change and recreate? Thirdly,from mass meida communicaiton to social media communication and intelligent media communication,what changes have taken place in the second-level as communication control? Fourthly,what is the specific performance of the third-level as communicaiton effect in different human meida communication stages?In order to get the answers of these four questions,this research mainly adopts the theoretical deduction method and carries out in detail from vertical case analysis to horizontal contrast analysis.On one hand,Informatics is used as the main theoretical tool,and separatley place the communication process,communication control,communication effect in specific theoretical interpretation frameworks as information theory,cybernetics theory,synergy theory and subject theory.The main discussion line of the research are the typical three media communication stages.Under this logic,the outstanding performance in different stages and different communication levels can be fully and well analysed.On the other hand,a horizontal contrast research method is used to summarize the content of three main chapters,and try to discuss the whole future development of intelligent communication from the perspective of important foundations,key issues and development goals,with the transformation of communication subject as the core evolution thought.It can be seen as the important conclusions of this research.What’s more,the two different research paths can supplement each other,and make more objective,theoretically scientific answers to the above four sub-questions of this research.As a whole,the full paper is divided into three parts and can be studied specifically from seven chapters.The content of the first part is the research basis of this thesis,which plays an outline role in constructing the overall research framework.More specificly,this part concludes two chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the basic situation of this research and systematically sorts out the existing literature that related to it.The former includes a combing of research origin,research questions,research contents and methods,while the latter discusses in detail from the leading theories of informatics,the meida communication evolution studies and the future development of intelligent communication.It can be seen from the existing literature review that scholars have had a sufficient theoretical foundation and rich research resources for this thesis,but there are also problems such as systemicity,theoreticality and inadequacy of them.The second chapter discusses the essential characteristics of media information communication,and from the complementary perspective of the relevant theories of informatics to the basic research mode of communication,communication processes,communication control and communication effect are the three main and logically progressive hierarchical structures in the human media communication evolution,which are in the form of “ontology-cognition-value”logic progressive relationship.Moreover,the evolving "technology-demand" model has become the basic evolutionary driving force and changing research paradigm of it.The second part of this article revolves around the specific research framework proposed above,using a combination of theoretical deduction and case analysis,which is specifically divided into three specific chapters: communication process reengineering,communication control reform and communication effect evolution.At the same time,each chapter will take the three stages of human communication as the main logic and foundation.Specifically,the third chapter focuses on the reform and reconstruction of the information communication process.From the evolutionary perspective of "separation—connection—fusion" between information and its carrier in information ontology,and combines with the relevant information theory,it analyzes the essential connotation of communication process starting from the information source and reaching the human destination while through the media channel.The research of traditional communication processes as "line-connection game" and "single-time transmission" are aspects of cognitive misunderstanding.By specifically explaining the communication processes from the communicator-led information transfer to the producer-consumer-driven information connection and the media-reconstructed information fusion change,this study found that the human communication process has changed from internal process self-improvement to overall process reengineering and breakthrough.In the future,intelligent communication will be based on information fusion,showing unprecedented multiple possibilities in terms of communication technology,communication content,communication form and communication subject.The fourth chapter studies the transfer of communication power and system control from the epistemological perspective of the evolution of the relationship between information and human beings,and based on the cybernetics、system theories.Regardless of the background of communication technology,information communication always faces the problems as communication instability and technical uncertainty.This chapter analyzes the out-of-control performance and control strategies of different information communication systems by clarifying the main contradictions in communication systems at different stages,the main focus of human control forces and their potential problems.The study found that traditional mass communication mainly controls the production and dissemination of information from both internal and external dimensions.Social media communication uses digital upgrade of technology to achieve personalized participation control of it,while intelligent communication focuses on the evolution of information communication,the new communication mode of machines as important communicators and the reconstruction of human communication order etc.Intelligent communication control tries to explore a hierarchical control strategy to balance the development power and achieve spiral evolution of human communication system.The fifth chapter studies the effects of information communication from the perspective of information value change.The traditional communication studies believe that the communication effect is the degree to which information is reproduced from the source of production through the channels to the receiver.From the perspective of informatics value theory,the effect of human communication at different development stages is closely related to communication subjects,channels and even surrounding environment.From mass media communication to social media communication,human media communication mainly undergoes organizational effects and platform effects,which respectively solve the problems as information asymmetry and information dissipation.And intelligent communication will focus on the synergistic effect of diversified information,using technology to achieve the balance between closedness and openness of the system,as well as the synergy between humans and machines.The third part of this research includes Chapter Six and Chapter Seven,which summarize the main body of the article,as well as the research limitations and future prospects of it.The sixth chapter is not only an important conclusion of this topic,but also the ultimate research goal.In terms of the chapter structure,Chapter Six will take the future development of intelligent communication as the core issue.It summarizes the main contents of Chapters Three to Five,and systematically illustrates and describes the overall development landscape of intelligent communication from a horizontal perspective.It is believed that the core of intelligent communication is the important change of communication subject.From the angle of Ontology,information connectivity is an important foundation for intelligent communication.Based on the one-dimensional information transmission of mass communication and the extensive connection of information through social media communication,the information connectivity of intelligent communication in the future will realize a full chain circulation of human communication,a fully use of the information creation value and also to meet the true individual needs of humanity.In terms of cognition,reconstruction of boundaries is the key issue of intelligent communication.We must not only be alert to the information production boundaries of human subjects or machine subjects,the expansion boundaries of human communication practices and theoretical research,but also pay attention to the boundaries of the information exchange and integration between human intelligence and other intelligent agents.There is no doubt that promoting the coordinated development of the real society and the virtual society,bringing the value of information into full play and building a free but ordered,rational hut humanized society will be the development goals and ultimate purpose of future intelligent communication.In addition,Chapter Seven summarizes and reflects on the research of all the above chapters from the aspects of research limitations and future prospects.No matter from the level of theoretical construction or practical argumentation,there are still plenty of spaces for continuous researches on this topic and there can also be much for us to be done.The main conclusions of this study include:Firstly,on the whole,the evolution of human media information communication follows the "technology-demand" paradigm,and from the perspective of different communication stages,the paradigm is in a process of continuous development and change,which has also contributed to the continuous change and innovation human communication activities.Technology is the underlying logic of human communication.It is not only an important tool for information dissemination,but also an explicit and direct driving force for the changes in communication evolution.Free humanism with human needs as the core thought is the development direction of communication.It is not only an important regulating factor in the development of it,but also an indispensable restrictive force.It is worth mentioning that in the "technology-demand" paradigm formed by the two necessary factors,not only technological elements face innovation from single logic to dual logic or even complex logic,the human needs at the other side also changes from information capacity to information content and even information quality.In the transformation process of individual elements and the overall paradigm,the media communication activities that humans frequently evolved have also found a more scientific theoretical explanation basis.Secondly,from the three detailed levels of human media communication system,although the information communication process,information communication control and information communication effect have their own development laws,they are ultimately oriented around the important changes of communication subject.In other words,when the stage of human communication transitions from mass media communication to social media communication,and gradually develops into intelligent communication,the subject of communication becomes the core keyword of the future human communication phenomena.Not only does the intelligent communication process face the crisis of labor division and cooperation between human subject and machine subject,but also the intelligent communication control strategy mainly focuses on the irrational behavior of human subject and the unrestricted propagation of machine subject.As for the intelligent communication effect,it is inevitable that it will be based on the coordinated development of human subjects and machine subjects,as well as cross-subject information dissemination and communication.Thirdly,connectivity and cross-border are the main performances of intelligent communication,but control and coordination are the rational development paths it should take.First of all,intelligent communication is a human communication mode in postmodern society.It cannot be like the mass media communication or social media communication with the main goal of pursuing the absolute communication stability.In fact,human communication activities in postmodern society will always be in a dynamic development process of losing order and rebuilding order.What we humans can do is try to balance the two extreme states,scientifically predict and reasonably avoid the possible development crisis,and create a relative stable living space.Therefore,control and coordination are necessarily development measures that human communication must take in the future.Moreover,as with any new admired scene when emerging communication technologies first appeared,intelligent technology at this stage is also regarded by most people as the perfect tool to make up for all communication defects and placed on the omnipotent creation altar.However,creation coexistence with prejudice in technology has long been human experience and consensus.Faced with the technical ambition of intelligent communication to connect all information and cross any boundary,human beings must be based on the existing technical problems and the development crisis of scientific research and try to take human development and human needs as the tight curse.Moreover,we need to create an ideal balance and coordinated human communication scene by taking a rationally control of intelligent communication development.
