Labor education is an important part of the socialist education system with Chinese characteristics,which directly determines the labor spirit,labor value orientation and labor skill level of socialist builders and successors.Strengthening labor education in the new era is not only the basic premise of cultivating new people in the new era but also an important support for cultivating talents for building a modern and powerful country.It is also a realistic need to solve the outstanding problems of talent training.Since its establishment,the Communist Party of China has always attached importance to the formulation and implementation of labor education policies.Whether in the period of the new democratic revolution,the period of socialist revolution and construction,the period of reform and opening up and modernization,or after socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era,labor education policies have played a very important role in the process of cultivating all-round development talents for our country.Therefore,it is of great significance to systematically and comprehensively sort out the historical evolution of the education policy of the Communist Party of China,clarify the characteristics of different stages of the evolution of labor education policy,reflect on the problems existing in the labor education policy,and summarize the experience of the implementation of the labor education policy,so as to more consciously grasp the political orientation of labor education and better realize the fundamental goal of cultivating builders and successors of the socialist cause with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physical fitness,work and aesthetics.The paper uses the method of combining logic and history,comparative analysis and systematic analysis to systematically study the evolution of labor education policy since the founding of the Communist Party of China,which is divided into seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly makes a brief statement from the research background and significance,domestic research status,research ideas and methods,and possible innovations and deficiencies.The second part analyzes the main concepts involved in the study.The first is to sort out the related concepts of labor,labor education and labor education policy,and make a comprehensive analysis and definition of its understanding through ancient and modern Chinese and foreign;the second is to trace the theoretical origin of labor education policy,focusing on Marx and Engels’ labor education thought,Lenin’s labor education thought,and the labor concept in Chinese excellent traditional culture,and summarizing the thinking and exploration of labor education by Chinese and foreign scholars in modern times.The third part is the labor education policy during the period of the new democratic revolution.Through the combing of the pre-labor education policy conceived by the central Soviet area with “new village”,the labor education policy aimed at “building a red regime” in the central Soviet area,and the labor education policy with “supporting revolution” as the core during the Yan ’an period,the purpose and practical effect of labor education are analyzed.The fourth part is the labor education policy in the period of socialist revolution and construction.The labor education policy in this period has gone through three stages of development: the exploration period of the embryonic form of labor education emphasizing “taking the Soviet Union as the teacher”,the promotion period of the labor education policy emphasizing “ideological labor”,and the deviation period of the labor education policy emphasizing “class struggle”.The fifth part is the labor education policy during the period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization.It has experienced the recovery and reconstruction of the labor education policy emphasizing “technology”,and the development of the reform and deepening of the labor education policy based on“literacy”.It has closely trained modern talents around economic construction,focused on individual value,focused on improving individual comprehensive quality,and people-oriented shaped the spiritual world of labor value.The sixth part is the labor education policy in the period of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.It clarifies the policy direction of adhering to the construction of labor education system,following the law of education to improve the effectiveness of labor education practice,and strengthening labor education to reverse the weakening of labor education.It combs the relevant policies on labor concept education,labor education system construction,practical activities,support and guarantee;it highlights the main achievements of establishing correct labor concept,strengthening necessary labor ability,cultivating positive labor spirit,and shaping good labor habits and quality.The seventh part is the basic experience of the labor education policy of the Communist Party of China.It points out that we should always adhere to the Party’s overall leadership of labor education,adhere to the Party’s leadership,grasp the distinct political orientation,closely focus on the combination of education and labor to formulate labor education policy,and constantly strengthen the system construction of labor education policy.Meanwhile,we should always emphasize the important position of labor education,constantly promote the education of labor values,adhere to the education of labor education,and continue to practice the education of labor practice.Last but not least,we should always attach importance to the unity of labor education theory and policy practice,based on deepening Marxist labor view and labor education theory,supported by deepening the understanding of the requirements of the times of laborers and supported by constantly enriching the resources and platforms of labor education practice.
