| Labor is the most basic practical activity of human beings and the foundation for the existence and development of human society.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has been keenly aware of the unique value of labor in the process of human growth and social development,and has proposed its stand and views on labor of the new era.From the standpoint of Marxist scientific world view and methodology,they not only enriched and developed the content of Marxist labor view theoretically,but also injected innovative vitality into the labor practice of governing the country,continuously meeting the development needs of current society,and gradually formed the theoretical system of Marxist labor concept innovation since the 18 th National Congress.The innovation of Marxist concept on labor since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(hereinafter referred to as "innovation on labor concept")has a profound theoretical foundation.The labor value theory,labor emancipation theory,labor education theory,and alienated labor theory in Marx and Engels’ labor concept are the theoretical sources of the innovative ideas of the labor outlook carried out by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core.At the same time,the innovation of labor concept is also inseparable from the labor exploration of the leaders of the Communist Party of China of several generations,and inherits from the traditional Chinese culture.The innovation of labor concept is rich in content.The first is the theory of labor subject,which answers the question of who will work in the new era.On the premise of adhering to the dominant position of the people,it is emphasized that workers do not distinguish from high and low.The second is the theory of labor creation,which answers the question of why we should work in the new era.The analysis of labor value,labor innovation and creation,and labor spirit in the new era has stimulated people’s labor enthusiasm and further clarified people’s labor cognition.The third is the theory of labor education,which answers the question of how to work in the new era.It is necessary to adhere to the reform direction of labor education field and train socialist builders and successors who are well developed morally,intellectually,physically,aesthetically and laboriously in an all-round way.The fourth is the theory of labor environment,which answers the question of under what kind of natural environment and social relations should the laborers work in the new era.We must advocate the concept of green and scientific labor development and promote positive labor practices.At the same time,we should give full play to the role of trade unions and constantly build a new type of harmonious labor relation.The innovation of labor concept is a set of systematic and scientific theoretical system,which has a clear purpose and strong epochal characteristics,and has important theoretical and practical significance.In theory,it enriches and develops the content of Marxist view on labor;reshaping the important value of traditional cultural labor view,at the same time it enriches Xi Jinping’s thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.In reality,it points out the direction for cultivating newcomers of the era,providing a new development path for labor education in the new era;and accumulates a strong power for the establishment of a modern socialist country."Glory belongs to the laborer,happiness belongs to the laborer."
