Building learning cities not only meets citizens’ demand for a better life and improves their living quality,but also contributes to the sustainable development of overall society and individuals.Thus,it has become a vital trend in social progress.Universities,as the core strength to build learning cities,are playing an increasingly important role in it.For this reason,conducting ways to enhance the motivation of colleges and universities to participate in the construction of learning city and improve its efficiency,become a significant component of promoting the goal.Nowadays,the amount of colleges and universities that involving learning city construction is gradually increasing,and the participation forms are richer,the involvement levels are deeper.But there are still some realistic problems on it nationally,such as the relatively small proportion,the insufficient path and content innovation,and the low involving quality.The root of these problems is the defectiveness of participating motivation of universities.This paper aims at intensifying university’driving force of participate in build learning cities.It analyzes the influencing factors of university participation in the construction of learning city from the inside of universities,and pays great attention to the mutual relationship of various influencing factors from the systematic perspective.Adopting research methods such as literature research,investigation and interview,grounded theory and system dynamics,the paper constructs a main logical line of connotation interpretation-reality review-factor selection-model simulation-strategy research-mechanism construction,explores the dynamic mechanism and promotion strategy of universities participating in the construction of learning city systematically.At the first part,this paper describes the research background,clarifies the research topic,objectives and significance,and puts forward the research ideas,methods and contents.The theoretical and practical basis of the paper is settled through the definition of related concepts and terms,theoretical basis analysis,and research dynamic sorting.On this basis,guided by the theory model of organizational environment,the paper constructs a framework to select the motivation influence factors that affect universities participate in learning city construction theoretically,and combines with the empirical analysis of the motivation factors of Shanghai universities to participate in the construction of learning city.Using open coding of grounded theory to sort out 23 randomly selected in-depth interview texts and classifying the open coding,abstracts out 30 concepts,7 categories and 2 main categories,and extracts the key motivation factors influencing the participation of universities in building learning cities.Then combines the expert interviews,case studies and textual research to define the subsystems of university-involving learning city construction,and elaborate its cause and effect.According to the structure and function figure,draw the causality diagram of relevant subsystems,build the corresponding subsystem of stock flow diagram on the basis of deducing,and illustrates the variables of each subsystem.Using Vensim PLE to construct the cause tree analysis diagram and total flow diagram of universityinvolving learning city construction,determine the parameters and main equations of system dynamics model,and then build the dynamic model of university-participating learning city construction based on system dynamics.In order to objectively and accurately analyze the interaction between various influencing factors,subsystems and learning city construction,as well as the differences in the impact on the driving force of learning city construction,this study takes the statistical data of G city and the yearbook data of G University as examples to conduct simulation by adjusting specific parameters,and the optimized simulation results were interpreted.T Propose to respond to social needs and practice demonstration and guidance;Implement policies and systems and improve service level;Create a cultural atmosphere,gain stakeholders,build an exchange platform,and strengthen connectivity.Finally,based on the previous research and discussion,the dynamic influencing factors of colleges and universities Participating in the construction of learning city are the origin of its power.The interaction between them realizes the strengthening and sustainability of the power,and then constructs the "dynamic mechanism of colleges and universities participating in the construction of learning city" including endogenous mechanism,external driving mechanism and sustainable mechanism.The conclusion refines the main points of this study from the aspects of the role of influencing factors and power enhancement of Universities’ participation in the construction of learning cities,and puts forward further research suggestions and prospects based on the research.
