With the complexity and diversification of scientific issues,Interdisciplinary has become an academic hotspot recently. Many scholars have conducted related researches on the organizational management, knowledge management and evaluation mechanism of interdisciplinary teams. However,as one of the important contents of interdisciplinary teams in universities, there are few researches on the mechanism of development motivation.Based on the industrial cluster theory, the development logic of interdisciplinary team in universities was analyzed, the internal and exogenous dynamic factors of the development of interdisciplinary team in universities were summarized. Also, the influence ways of each factor on the knowledge competitive advantage of interdisciplinary team were analyzed through system dynamics modeling and simulation. Finally, some development suggestions was given.First of all,the cluster attributes of interdisciplinary teams in universities were analyzed from the perspective of industrial cluster theory in order to construct the theoretical framework for the development of interdisciplinary teams in universities.Through the analysis of the nature of the organization, the values, the purpose of the organization and the external environment of the interdisciplinary team in universities, the development logic of interdisciplinary teams in universities has been defined.Secondly,in view of the dynamic mechanism of the development of the interdisciplinary team in universities, the endogenous and exogenous motivations of the development of the interdisciplinary team in universities were analyzed.Endogenous power includes interdisciplinary agglomeration effect, social capital and interdisciplinary knowledge integration capability, exogenous power includes government impetus, pulling power of universities and enterprises thrust. The concept of knowledge competitive advantage is proposed to evaluate the comprehensive competitiveness of interdisciplinary teams in universities, and the simulation model of knowledge competitive advantage of interdisciplinary teams in universities is established by using the system dynamics method, and the accuracy of the model is proved by comparing the five-year annual report data of W Key Laboratory of H University. Finally,it is known from the analysis of simulation results and the annual report data that among endogenous dynamic factors, interdisciplinary agglomeration effect has an important influence on the improvement of team knowledge competitive advantage. In terms of social capital, interdisciplinary teams should pay more attention to cooperation and exchange, rather than simply increasing the number of high-level talents. The ability of interdisciplinary knowledge integration has little influence on the improvement of team knowledge competitive advantage, but a good research atmosphere will be helpful to some extent,Among the exogenous forces, the enterprise driving force has the greatest influence on the improvement of knowledge competitive advantage. While the impact of government impetus is mainly reflected in the different emphasis, for example, the government can play a role in promoting school-enterprise cooperation, which can have a better effect. The university driving force has the least influence. Finally,it is suggested that the interdisciplinary team in universities should pay more attention to the sharing of resources of various disciplines and the construction of a good scientific research atmosphere internally, and pay more attention to the enhancement of school-enterprise cooperation and the promotion of the transformation of patent achievements externally.
