Research On Parent-Child Tourism Experience:Influence Factor And Benefit

With the acceleration of the pace of social life and the increasing pressure of work competition,contemporary parents have to put more time and energy into work,and the time to accompany their children is limited,which leads to the alienation of parentchild relationship.And parent-child tourism can provide parents with the opportunity to teach in travel,family affection consolation and release guilt,which has been accepted by the majority of families and ushered in a golden opportunity for development.However,the booming parent-child tourism market pays more attention to parents’ demands and ignores children’s tourism experience,which restricts the development of parent-child tourism.In parent-child tourism,children and parents belong to the same group.Although adults are willing to sacrifice their own tourism experience to seek pleasure for children,it is necessary to understand children’s parentchild tourism world because of children’s status attribute and psychological cognitive characteristics in parent-child activities.It is of special significance to study children’s parent-child Tourism experience.However,most of the current studies focus on adult groups,and pay little attention to children’s tourism experience.Although scholars have begun to realize the differences between the two,most of them only explore from the perspective of adults,and the research from children’s perspective is relatively scarce.The research from children’s perspective not only helps enrich the theory of parent child tourism and tourism experience theory,but also has important guiding significance for parents and marketers to understand children’s parent-child travel world,choose and provide high-quality parent-child tourism products.This study mainly focuses on what children can experience in the process of parent-child tourism?What factors will affect children’s parent-child tourism experience?What is the benefit of children’s parent-child tourism experience?Based on the literature review,this study makes a systematic analysis of parent-child tourism experience,scientifically analyzes the connotation and structural dimensions of parentchild tourism experience,and investigates the influencing factors and benefit of parentchild tourism experience from the perspective of children’s cognition and the interaction between family environment and tourism environment.Due to the lack of theoretical results that can be used directly,this study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research to explore the problem.In the qualitative research stage,children’s painting and interviews guided by painting are used as data sources to interpret the connotation and build a theoretical model;in the quantitative research stage,normative empirical design is used to conceptualize the theoretical model and variables proposed in the qualitative research,and two rounds of small-scale pre-survey are conducted to explore and verify the scale.Through statistical analysis,this paper empirically tests the influencing factors and benefit of parent-child tourism experience.This study draws the following conclusions:1.In terms of connotation expand,parent-child tourism experience is a multidimensional concept with rich connotation.The cognitive representations of parent-child tourism have both similarities and differences,and they interact and interweave,forming a unique connotation of parentchild tourism experience in the sense of "children-self’ under the background of "family self";the painting projection rules of parent-child tourism experience have elements,characters,activities,scenes and colors,and are closely related to children’s cognitive development stage;parent-child tourism experience is closely related to children’s cognitive development stage Tourism experience consists of 7 dimensions:sensory experience,learning experience,family experience,relaxation and pleasure experience,association experience,space experience and negative experience.2.In terms of.Factors Exploration,the influencing factors of parent-child tourism experience are diversified.Among them,tourism environment and family environment are the important antecedents of parent-child tourism experience,and the role of family environment is greater than that of tourism environment;integration is the intermediary factor of parent-child tourism experience;communication distance,cognitive stage and activity novelty are the regulatory factors of parent-child tourism experience.3.In terms of positive benefits,parent-child tourism experience positive on family and children.Parent child tourism experience can provide emotional strength for the internal operation of the family system and improve family happiness;parent child tourism experience can realize the process practice of "experiential" family education,which has a positive impact on children’s educational benefits;parent child tourism experience can deepen children’s awareness of parent-child tourism behavior,and bury in children’s hearts the good wishes of taking their parents to travel when they grow up.The main innovations of this study include:1.In-depth analysis of the concept of parent-child tourism from multi-dimensional perspective;2.Based on children’s painting,this paper explores the parent-child tourism experience of "children-self"under the background of "family-self";3.New understanding and measurement of the structural dimension of parent-child tourism experience;4.Systematically analyzes the influencing factors and effects of parent-child tourism experience.This study enriches the existing theories,provides a new perspective for understanding children’s tourism world,clarifies the multi-dimensional connotation of parent-child tourism experience,provides a theoretical tool for the expansion of parentchild tourism experience research from the perspective of children,and lays a foundation for the construction of parent-child tourism experience research system.This study guides the management practice,from the perspective of educational management,the significance of tourism to children’s positive education has been recognized and emphasized by educational administrators.From the perspective of tourism management,"children’s economy" is a wide commercial blue ocean,Parent child tourism has a broad market prospect,and experience is a direct factor related to the development of tourism enterprises.Tourism enterprises try to improve the experience of all kinds of tourists through various positive ways,and then put forward the practical enlightenment of creating a high-quality environment suitable for parentchild tourism,designing products that can enhance children’s tourism integration,and improving parent-child tourism experience through novelty of activities.
