Research On The Present Situation Of Family Parent-child Activities Of Preschool Children In Wuhan

The family is the child's first classroom,and parents are the children's first teacher.The influence of the family on the child has already begun from birth and will continue to affect the child's life.In the family,parent-child activities carried out between parents and children have a profound influence on children's intelligence,emotions,personality,behavior and values.This article selects parents of 3-6 year olds from four kindergartens in Wuhan as research subjects,and uses questionnaires,interviews,observations and other empirical research methods to study the present situation of parent-child activities in Wuhan family.The research results show that there are certain problems in the present situation of parent-child activities in urban preschool children families in Wuhan: In terms of parent-child activities,most parents have inconsistent ideas and actions,and lack of arrangements for family planning activities;In family environments and cities in the environment,resources suitable for parent-child activities are limited;Father`s participation in parent-child activities is not enough;Interest classes have become alternatives to family parent-child activities.The causes of these problems mainly include the impact of traditional family education concepts;The influence of modern lifestyles;the limitations of urban activity space and the adultization of facilities;And the lack of guidance for family parent-child activities.Based on the above issues and the reasons for this,this article puts forward four suggestions for improvement:Parents should establish a correct view of family parent-child activities;Families should plan and arrange family parent-child activities in a rational manner;The government should increase investment in kindergarten activities.Provide a variety of parent-child activity resources;strengthen the close relationship between kindergartens,communities and families,and further strengthen the guidance of parent-child activities for preschool children.
