China is currently in a critical period of agricultural and rural modernization.However,the idleness of rural resources greatly hinders the high-quality development of the rural economy.The development of the new generation of information technology triggers the transformation of the technology economic paradigm.As a result,digital technology can reshape the pattern of rural production,ecology,and life.It can also accelerate the deep integration of industry,rural areas,farmers,resources,and other elements around the production,ecology,and life space.Moreover,it can cultivate organizational innovation ability,promote the diversified development of rural industries,realize the efficient utilization and deep integration of resources,and form a new mode of digitalization-production-village integration.Recognizing this potential,the No.1 document of the Central Committee in 2023 proposed to implement the action of digital rural development.It also aimed to promote the research and development and popularization of digital application scenarios.This indicates that digitalizationproduction-village integration is an inevitable trend of agricultural and rural development,which can promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy.Therefore,exploring the symbiotic mechanism and path of digitalization-productionvillage integration to activate rural idle resources is not only helpful to enrich and expand the theories of regional development,rural revitalization,and sustainable development but also in line with the current needs of rural development.This has important theoretical significance and practical value.This study draws on symbiosis theory and closely focuses on the issue of“symbiotic mechanism and path of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources”.To conduct this research,it follows the research paradigms such as literature analysis,theoretical research,case study,etc.,and uses digitalization-production-village integration as an object.The main contents are as follows:(1)Systematically sorted out the research results on rural idle resources,production-village integration,rural economic effects of digital technology development and the relationship between digital technology,production-village integration and rural idle resources.It also discussed the existing theoretical gaps,and based on technology spillover theory,industrial integration theory,symbiosis theory and collective action theory,it sorted out the internal logic of digitalization,rural idle resources and digitalization-production-village integration.This provided a basis for subsequent research and analysis.(2)Through case studies and field research,this paper analyzes the current situation,causes and activation barriers of rural idle resources in different types of villages,explores the transformation trend of rural idle resource activation modes,summarizes the basic trend of rural idle resource activation paths,and finds that there are many obstacles to activate rural idle resources,and the activation paths are changing from traditional modes to diversified modes,and the integration and linkage of digital technology with agricultural and rural production,ecology and living space will provide new paths and impetus for activating rural idle resources.(3)This study used grounded theory to conduct exploratory research on the symbiotic mechanism and influencing factors of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources.It focused on technology paradigm shift,organizational dynamic evolution,and symbiotic network formation.From these aspects,it induced the symbiotic mechanism of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources.The main argument of the study was that the key to the success of digitalization-production-village integration lies in promoting technology paradigm shift and organizational structure innovation,improving digital innovation capability,accelerating the formation of a symbiotic network,and realizing value creation,value transformation,and value-added of resources.(4)This study applied system dynamics to discuss the symbiotic path of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources.It considered digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources as a complex system.Based on the potential Dirichlet allocation topic model,it determined the number of subsystems and analyzed the influence factors.Then,it divided the digitalization-production-village integration system into three subsystems:production,ecology,and life.It also constructed a system model for digitalizationproduction-village integration to activate rural idle resources.The evolution trajectory of each subsystem is simulated,and conduct system simulation on the dynamic process of key factors in activating rural idle resources through digital rural-industrial integration.Through quantitative and simulation analyses,it is concluded that the symbiotic development of digital rural-industrial integration can activate rural idle resources and enhance the levels of production,ecology,and living standards in rural areas.(5)This study analyzed the game relationship between the main actors of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources.It used evolutionary game theory to construct a four-party evolutionary game model among local governments,agriculture-related enterprises,rural collective economic organizations,and farmers.It also sought equilibrium solutions and stability conditions for continuous and stable mutually beneficial symbiotic cooperation among various actors.Furthermore,it explored the implementation mechanism of symbiotic development of digitalization-production-village integration.It concluded that local government policy support can accelerate cooperation among digitalizationproduction-village integration organizations.However,it also found that government subsidies beyond a certain limit are not conducive to the stability of the digitalizationproduction-village integration system.Therefore,it constructed an implementation mechanism from five aspects: policy incentive transmission,functional integration linkage,interest chain condensation,institutional moral restraint and supervision and evaluation guidance.This study indicates that this promotes the symbiotic development of digital rural-industrial integration,activates rural idle resources,and in turn,propels the symbiotic development of rural areas and the symbiotic development between urban and rural areas.(6)This study integrating the symbiotic mechanisms,pathways,and implementation strategies of activating rural idle resources through digitalizationproduction-village integration.It proposes an optimized strategy for the symbiotic pathway of activating the rural idle resources.This strategy promotes the bidirectional flow of urban and rural elements,achieves resource symbiosis,and encourages the symbiotic value-added production-village integration elements.It also put forward relevant policy recommendations from the perspectives of industry,mechanisms,talent,and technology.This study theoretically analyzes the symbiotic development process of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources.It reveals the symbiotic mechanism of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources.This confirms the viewpoints of some literature that digital technology can promote agricultural and rural development from a new perspective.It also enhances the depth and breadth of research on production-village integration,rural revitalization,and sustainable development.In practice,China’s digital technology enabling agriculture and rural areas is in the initial stage of development and exploration.Therefore,this study focuses on the symbiotic mechanism and path of digitalization-production-village integration to activate rural idle resources by using a case study.It provides a corresponding implementation plan for agricultural and rural development.It has good practical guidance significance for alleviating “three rural”problems and promoting rural sustainable development.
