Research On Moral Governance From The Perspective Of Modernization

The modernization of Moral Governance is the due meaning of building a modern socialist country.Although China’s current moral governance has achieved extensive experience and remarkable results,it also shows the generational symptoms in the field of moral culture: the value orientation of liberalization and diversity impacts the collective moral norms,and the institutionalized and universal ethical order neglects and forgets the individual The value contradiction between the common good and the individual good is rooted in the problem of the connection between the sense of freedom and the universal norms,so relieving this problem has become an important goal of the current moral governance.Through the evolution of traditional moral order such as clan management in primitive society,patriarchal clan system in slave society and aristocratic etiquette in feudal society,human civilization is gradually turning to modern public governance mode.However,the separation of social fields and the fracture of traditional culture make it difficult for the original moral order to integrate into modern people’s life scenes,which leads to the emergence of modern moral contradictions.In order to solve these moral problems from the perspective of modernization,we need to follow the value core of classical writers’ moral theory,examine the spiritual essence of Marxist moral theory and the conceptual premise of socialist moral governance.The first thought of moral modernization in the western world was to defend the secularization of the bourgeoisie.Its humanistic spirit,contractual rationality,emotional ethics and utilitarian ethics broke through the value confinement and normative net of feudal religious ethics in the process of ideological transition.Later,the western moral theory showed a distinct logic of thinking.Through the stages of empiricism and rationalism questioning the existence of virtue,obligation ethics and absolute spirit reiterating rational authority,it gradually turned to the discussion of will ethics,existence ethics and other propositions.Postmodern ethics focuses on practical value,cognitive analysis,political justice and the legitimacy of capitalism.It replaces the traditional mode of thinking with various ways of thinking,and promotes the postmodern transformation of moral modernization research.Looking back to the history of China’s socialist moral construction,through the evolution from serving revolutionary war to serving social construction,and then to serving reform and opening up,it has realized the overall transformation from order separation to spiritual aggregation to value pluralism,and then to the mainstream,accompanied by the theme transformation from awakening freedom to seeking norms to cultivating freedom to constructing norms,and then to respecting freedom and advocating norms.The historical prospect and development law of this kind of Moral Governance are engraved with the time mark of getting rid of the stubborn disease of feudal ethics and the malpractice of capital ethics,solving the problem of economic rationality and instrumental rationality,and reflecting the basic trend of constructing socialist national ideology.In the cause of Moral Governance in the new era,we should give consideration to both individual morality and collective morality,promote the combination of moral ideal and moral practice,and realize the mutual benefit of Moral Governance and rule of law.After comparing the Modern Moral Governance schemes between China and the west,we can sort out the existing forms and rule structures of various moral elements,and construct a normative mechanism or governance system integrating moral character,moral emotion and moral ideal.As the return of common sense,moral character reflects the internal quality and development degree of human being adapting to moral norms;As a spiritual dwelling,moral emotion embodies the psychological perception of the real moral life and the resulting sense of obligation,honor and disgrace;As the ultimate concern,the moral ideal embodies people’s good will to pursue the ideal moral prospect,as well as the value orientation of looking forward to a better moral system,moral relationship and moral fashion.To promote the modernization of socialist moral governance,we need to follow the logic of the new moral system,refer to the experience paradigm of universal moral governance,and promote the selfconsciousness of moral personality,the realistic breeding of patriotic feelings,and the pursuit of the supreme good of communist belief.Focus on providing historical resources,institutional support and entity dependence for the new moral system,form a new situation of rule by law to guarantee rule by virtue and rule by virtue to support rule by law,and provide spiritual support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the construction of a modern power.
