The Transition Of Modern Rural Public Ethical And Its Meaning Of Construction

The Fourth Plenary Session of the Nineteenth Central Committee of the Party pointed out that it is necessary to uphold and improve the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,promoting the modernization of the national governance system and governance capabilities.The rural governance system is a vital component of the national governance system,with the rural public ethics system being value support of modern rural society.Under the background and premise of the transformation of rural society,this dissertation attempts to study the transformation process of the rural social order from the traditional rural society which was mainly supported by the ethical structure to the new public ethical order integrating the core element of publicity.This dissertation focuses on exploring the reshaping the original ethical value system of the rural society after the publicity,public rules,public culture,and public rationality entered the village in the development history of traditional rural society supported by a strong ethical relationship.The structure and order of the traditional rural society is an ethical society governed by the blood relationship of the natural structure,the geographical relationship of the closed production and living environment,as well as the multiple orders of family and clan power above it.The ethical relationship that supports the operation of traditional rural society constitutes an ultra-stable order structure,thus the ethical relationship has become the most essential feature of traditional rural society.At the same time,the ethical relationship of the rural society also serves as the main component of its lifestyle,providing value support and meaning system for the traditional rural society.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the state power entered the rural society,breaking the ethical standard of the traditional rural society.But the breaking did not eradicate the rigid organizational construction.After 1978,with the development of village self-governance,reform on agriculture taxes and the open-up of rural society,the rural society gradually underwent changes and experienced modernization.The important difference between modern rural society and traditional rural society is that farmers exist as independent individuals,with their dependence on the family gradually dissipating.They would participate more widely in rural public organizations,public life,and public rules.The change in rural society means that in the traditional society,the relationship between the dependent individual and the community supported by the natural structure is gradually disintegrating.Villagers who are semi-detached from the ethical order of traditional rural society enter public organizations,public life,and the public sphere,establishing a new connection path with modern society and forming a new lifestyle,in order to reconstruct public ethics that meets the development characteristics of modern rural society culture.This thesis mainly studies the following points:One is the research on the ethical relationship of traditional rural society.This thesis focuses on studying the main factors supporting the relationship between the traditional rural social life order and ethics and the value basis for forming such factors.In the traditional rural society,a strong family ethical structure is formed by the blood relationship,a deep human ethical form is formed by the geographical relationship,and the clan power maintains the basic order of the traditional rural society.Therefore,the ethical relationship represents the core element to maintain the traditional rural social order;The second point stands on the study of public organizations and public life in modern rural society.Modern rural society is a social evolution process that gradually changes from traditional factors to modern ones.Based on the current development status of the rural society,this part explores rural public activities such as public organizations,public spheres and public life,to sort out the current status of the public life in the rural society of our country,discussing the form of modern rural social public ethnics and public ethics standards in order tobuild the dimensions of public ethics in modern rural society.The third point is the study of the integration of traditional cultural resources and the construction of rural public ethics.The influence of traditional rural culture on rural society is deeply ingrained.It is of great significance to clarify the main direction of current rural cultural construction and integrate excellent cultural resources for the construction of modern rural public ethics.Based on the inheritance of traditional rural ethics and cultural resources,a public ethics that is compatible with the modern rural social governance structure,production and lifestyle,and modern rural development trends is constructed.
