The visual-perceptual space of the landscape environment is the visual representation of the environmental space.The creation of visual space has achieved China’s unique landscape culture.However,with the development of modern industrialization and modern cartography technology,a series of indicators and analysis methods based on the total plane including building density and green space ratio were born.These indicators and methods can efficiently and accurately realize the macro-level spatial and ecological management and control,but they cannot reflect the spatial characteristics of visual perception,resulting in a lot of scale anomie,aesthetic lack and landscape fairness problems.In this regard,on the basis of existing research at home and abroad,this research has constructed a set of indicators and quantitative methods for three-dimensional visual space for landscape architecture related research and design,and demonstrated its use in various analysis and design scenarios.The use method provides relevant basis and tools for the style control and decision-making process related to the visual space.This research can be divided into four parts: index measurement,feature organization,method design,and application demonstration.The establishment of index metrics is to explore the basic principles of visual imaging based on related theories and the research needs of the landscape environment to formulate basic indexes and metrics that meet the characteristics of visual imaging and spatial geometric characteristics to describe the visual perception space;in this process,it is determined through experiments The hyperbolic space characteristics of the visual space area,while determining the space conversion model,changed the existing design field based on the physical space for the calculation method of the visual height "aspect ratio".Feature organization is based on the measurement of basic indicators.It describes the more complex and comprehensive features in the context of landscape environment based on the scale and element characteristics of the landscape environment,and proposes a feature organization model of "scene-motion-element" to achieve It describes the characteristics from simple to complex,from part to whole,and from static to dynamic.In the part of method design,based on the above indicators and features,the visual perception space quantification system View Per was independently developed to realize the quantification of various indicators,features and feature organization;in order to meet the needs of three-dimensional environmental space quantification,an environment for storage,display,and conversion was constructed.The semantic grid model of physical spatial data and the proximal stimulus spatial grid surface model reflecting the characteristics of the two-dimensional semi-image of the retina,and the use of ray tracing technology to imitate the retinal imaging process to achieve spatial conversion and sampling of visual data.In the application demonstration stage,through the establishment of complex scenes,relevant indicators,characteristics and quantification systems are displayed from the perspectives of current situation assessment,impact assessment,and auxiliary design in the protection of heritage and viewing corridors related to the landscape environment,environmental visual impact assessment,and landscape design Specific application methods in other scenarios.
