| In the process of modernization,the inheritance of Chinese traditional construction has been systematically declining.The contemporary transformation and application of traditional wooden construction technology will contribute to the inheritance and innovation of traditional construction system.As one of the important structural types in the traditional wooden structural system,the advantages of the overlaying wooden structure are: clear construction logic,diverse structure and space design,flexible modular operating mechanism and so on.In view of this type of wooden structure,the problems can be summarized as follows:(1)The lack of awareness of the potential value of traditional overlaying wooden structure makes it difficult to establish an effective connection with contemporary architectural design;(2)The lack of transformation design method system leads to the fragmentation in the inheritance practice of overlaying wooden structure.(3)The modular "design —construciton" model of overlaying wooden structure has not been effectively established,resulting in the limitation of its application.This paper takes the overlaying wooden structure as the research object to explore its contemporary transformation design method.The research has been mainly divided into three aspects:(1)Extraction of overlaying wooden structure prototype.Using the methods of literature review,field investigation and diagram analysis,The paper Has extracted three prototypes from the traditional overlaying wooden structural system: "box overlaying wooden structure","beam column overlaying wooden structure " and "cantilever overlaying wooden structure ".The research excavates and analyzes the information with contemporary value in the prototype from the aspects of construction logic,structural form,structural spatial relevance and optimization of construction in detail,and establishes the construction information Knowledge map through HO-ZO platform.(2)Construction of prototype transformation design method.Using the methods of diagram logical derivation,simulation analysis and comparative research,the traditional overlaying wooden structure prototype is interacted with contemporary architectural design.The research constructs transformation design method from "stacking mode reorganization","structural form transformation","interpretation of the relationship between structure and space" and "detailed structure optimization".(3)Establishment of modular transformation digital model.Based on the constructed transformation design method,using Grasshopper,Karamba3 D and other parametric tools,establish a series of overlaying wooden structure digital models with modular characteristics,so as to provide reference for contemporary practice.Finally,the research Has been highly integrated from three aspects: transformation operation,construction characteristics and form expression,so as to Establish a complete transformation design system based on overlaying wooden structure prototype.This paper Has established the relationship between overlaying wooden structure and contemporary design;constructs a systematic transformation design mode;deduces a series of transformation digital models.Under the background of the revival of wooden structure industry,the significance of the research is not only reflected in the inheritance and innovation of traditional wooden structure culture,but also in making a valuable exploration on the design of contemporary overlaying wooden structure at the levels of structural form,space,and details,which will promote the deeper and broader development of the contemporary Chinese architectural design. |
