The Advance Of The Modern British Industrial Design Between Tradition And Transformation

After the Industrial Revolution, the Britain had became its transformation of modern industry design, the Arts& Crafts Movement which leaded by John Ruskin and William Morris has an important influence on the beginning and development of the modern industry design, it is their ideologies lead people to notice what the design had done to our life .And now, the Originality Industry in Britain has show a charming fascination to us twice. But at the present, in our country, compare with the study of the practice, the study of the theory is so few, and the most books or discourses are all focus on the analysis of the idiographic design instances. The theory about the development of British industry design is spread around the books of the history of design, so there is not a consecutive and systematical theoretical system. Beside that, we are all know that , the development of the British industry design is depended on the supported by the government , and this mode has been adopted by other countries , they are also have a favorable effect. But the design is not a single discipline, it determined by the economy, culture, tradition, history and so on.
