The impact of world urbanization and human over-activity is an important cause of the decline in the stability of the ecosystem, and it also threatens the protection and inheritance of the world’s natural and cultural heritage. The international community has gradually realized that such a development is not a long-term solution, and Sustainable development Goals was proposed. In recent years, the coordinated development of nature and culture has been advocated.Since the 12th Five-Year Plan,China has proposed the construction of ecological civilization and has implemented land and space planning, following the path of sustainable development with Chinese characteristics resolutely.Sustainable Development Goals not only put forward requirements for the healthy maintenance of the ecosystem environment, but also put forward new requirements for the protection of cultural heritage and the construction of cultural spaces. The good natural geographical environment and unique Lingnan culture of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area provide conditions for the construction of corridors that combine nature and culture, such as the Greenways and the Ancient Post Roads. In 2018,the cultural heritage trails was advocated to construct, connecting the valuable cultural heritage of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao to show the common culture, which is the important part of the corridor network. From the perspective of landscape architecture, this research intends to understand cultural heritage trails based on heritage corridors, and explore the important role of heritage corridors in the overall protection of the natural environment and cultural heritage through theoretical research and empirical research. In the theoretical research section, the research progress of cultural ecosystem services and heritage corridors were reviewed firstly. Then, based on the concept of the coordinated development of natural environment and cultural heritage, the method and work path of heritage corridor selection under the cooperation of ecosystem"environment and cultural service"was explored. There are three main contents of the route selection method, which are as follows:(1)combing the basic natural environment of the study area through ecological sensitivity analysis, and judging ecological protection areas and suitable construction areas based on comprehensive sensitivity analysis;(2)determining the cultural heritage sources based on the evaluation of the ecosystem cultural service value, including the tourism resources value and the cultural services value preferred by the public;(3)generating the potential route of the heritage corridor based on the minimal cumulative resistance model.Among them, the ecological sensitivity analysis is the basic content, the ecosystem cultural service value evaluation is the key content, and the minimum cumulative resistance model is the core content, which together constitute the working path of heritage corridor selection in the coordination of natural environment and cultural services. In the empirical research section,Jiangmen in the western Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is taken as an example to simulate the route selection method of heritage corridor.Based on the potential route generation process of the heritage corridor,a planning plan for the Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Heritage Corridor was formed. The research results are as follows.(1)Based on the ecological sensitivity analysis, the comprehensive sensitivity of Jiangmen’s natural environment is between 0.9796-4.769.According to the result, the area of insensitive area and lightly sensitive area with comprehensive sensitivity lower than 2.8178accounted for about 40.01%,which are concentrated in the central plain of Jiangmen with the characteristics of distribution along the river and suitable for development and construction activities.(2)31 cultural heritages were selected based on the tourism resources value evaluation about the importance and tourism potential of cultural heritage.40 cultural heritages were selected based on the evaluation of ecosystem cultural service value with participatory mapping method.the intersection of them, which contains 26 selected cultural heritage resources, was regarded as cultural heritage sources. These cultural heritage resources are concentrated in the plains along the river in Pengjiang,Xinhui,Kaiping, and Taishan, which are basically consistent with the results of natural environment research.(3)The minimal cumulative resistance model is composed of five key work processes, including determining the cultural heritage sources, constructing a resistance index system, simulating a comprehensive resistance grid, dividing suitability zones, and generating potential heritage corridors. The resistance factor is roughly the same as the ecological sensitivity factor.Based on the potential routes generated from the 26 cultural heritage sources,Jiangmen’s most important cultural heritages are connected, reflecting the main routes and directions of the heritage corridors.By superimposing other cultural heritage information, service facility information and traffic information in Jiangmen, the potential heritage corridor is optimized, and the planning plan of Jiangmen Overseas Chinese Heritage Corridor is finally formed. With the aid of computer software, the ecological sensitivity analysis, participatory mapping, statistical analysis and the minimal cumulative resistance model were used to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis.By constructing a method for identifying the cultural heritage sources and adjusting the process of selecting heritage corridors in the existing results,a method for selecting heritage corridors with the cooperation of ecosystem"environment-cultural services"was constructed. The feasibility and effectiveness of the method were discussed in the empirical research with the deduction of the method.Hoping to provide new ideas for the protection and utilization of cultural heritage such as heritage corridors, and promote the sustainable development of urban and rural natural and cultural spaces. |
