Modular Design Method Of Hospital Nursing Unit Space

Nursing unit occupies the largest proportion of hospital area,and for patients,it is the longest stay area in the hospital.On the one hand,the design quality of nursing unit is directly contributes to patients’ health and staffs’ wellbeing.On the other hand,because of people’s growing need of medical recourse and the frequent outbreaks of large public health emergencies,the construction quantity of nursing unit buildings is increasing continuously.Moreover high quality and efficiency of the construction are required.Modular design could improve the quality and efficiency of design.Besides,nursing unit space has the advantage of transferring to modular system.Therefor,this study will select the modular theory to carry on the in-depth exploration.The modular design of nursing unit space includes three design stages: module partition,module series design,and modular plan configuration.While in theory,the solutions to the key issues of each stage have not been proposed.Besides,different design issues couldn’t be solved by only one methodology.Therefore,this study aims at adopting different classic design methodologies into each modular design stage,to broaden architecture design thought and to construct modular design framework,method system,and method model of nursing unit space,so as to improve the scientificity and operability of the whole modular design process.As for the study of space module partition,this study takes spatial collaboration degree as module partition accordance,and set up a method model for space module partition base on fuzzy C means cluster algorithm.This method model could instruct the whole process of partition,as the system partition of nursing unit space,the extraction of space elements,the assessment of space collaboration degree,the cluster classification of space module,and the selection of space module partition plan.This study will analyze the space comprehensive collaboration degree according to the influencing factors of personnel contact,material contact and information contact using fuzzy C means cluster algorithm.Based on the comprehensive collaboration degree matrix,the nursing unit space module system will be divided into three hierarchies: the unit module,group module and room module,the subordinations of which will be declared.As for the study of the module series design,the study will establish a design method model based on quality and function development theory to guide the core design of the module series of nursing unit space logically,namely the extraction of space module prototypes,the extraction of module series design goals and the design of space module forms.In this part,the method model will be used to construct the quality house of nursing unit space module series design goals,space module design parameters design checklist,and space module form series.The outcomes will act as the prepositive recourse of space modular plan configuration.As for the study of modular plan configuration,the study will corrected the limitations of axiomatic design combining with the process of space modular plan configuration.Subsequently,a modular selection and combination method model based on independent axiom is constructed to guide the generation process of modular configuration plan and to solve the compatibility problem of spatial modular forms in this step.Secondly,a method model of nursing unit space modular configuration plan selection based on information axiom will be given for multi-scheme comparison.Finally,the validity and operability of the method model will be tested in combination with actual construction projects.This study aims to enhance nursing unit users’ wellbeing,improve the design efficiency and quality of nursing unit,replenish the architecture design methodology,and promote the cross academic disciplines’ communication,so as to provide methodology reference for future nursing unit design and other healthcare space modular design.
