The realization of high-quality development in the new era is inseparable from the green and low-carbon transition.On the one hand,the economic growth mode needs to achieve a green and low-carbon transition;on the other hand,the energy structure also needs to achieve a green and low-carbon transition.The roles of renewable energy in mitigating global climate change and energy supply security have been widely recognized.Therefore,the development of renewable energy is an important link in achieving a green and low-carbon transition.In addition,the innovation in renewable energy technologies can promote the reduction of renewable energy costs,thereby enhancing the competitiveness of renewable energy power generation to thermal power and increasing the proportion of renewable energy,as well as further reducing carbon emissions,improving carbon emissions performance,and achieving a green and low-carbon transition.Moreover,innovation is the first driving force for high-quality development in the new era.It can be seen that the renewable energy technological innovation creates favorable conditions for the realization of a green and low-carbon transition.However,the innovation in renewable energy technologies is largely affected not only by policies,but also by the renewable energy market.Further discussion on the driving factors of renewable energy technological innovation will be more conducive to playing the role of renewable energy technological innovation in promoting green and low-carbon transition.Therefore,there are the two questions answered in this paper:Does the development of China’s renewable energy technological innovation contribute to the realization of a green and low-carbon transition?How to develop China’s renewable energy technological innovation if the development of renewable energy technology innovation can be conducive to achieving a green and low-carbon transition?In view of this,in order to answer the first question,this paper discusses the impact of renewable energy technological innovation on the development of renewable energy from the perspective of innovation systems more comprehensively,and explores the impact mechanism of renewable energy technological innovation on carbon emission performance.In order to answer the second question,this paper mainly focuses on policy driven factors of renewable energy technological innovation,especially from the perspective of the the interactive drive of feed-in tariff policy and government R&D subsidies to explore the complexity of the innovation process.In addition,this paper also expands the LMDI method from the perspective of the renewable energy market to re-discuss the driving factors of various types of renewable energy technological innovation in China.Finally,this paper obtains some new conclusions and provides targeted suggestions. |
