| At present,the global economy and society is undergoing a fundamental change from factordriven to innovation-driven development.Developed countries such as Europe,the United States and Japan,as well as China,have all upgraded innovation-driven,quality and efficiency improvements to national development strategies.In recent years,with the rise of a large number of innovative enterprises(such as Apple,Xiaomi,Haier,Tesla,etc.),more and more scholars have proposed that technological capabilities and market capabilities form the basis of classic innovation coupling model,but in addition to that,there is a third innovation-driven model,which is the design-driven upgrade.Since 2000,many countries have formulated national-level design policies and development systems.Among them,many have made design industry policies a key part of national strategies and policy formulations.Therefore,under the background of this era,the evolution of industrial design as well as the prospective analysis of national strategies related to industrial design and the scientific selection of implementation paths in China in the next 5-10 years are issues that need to be studied urgently.This paper has conducted an in-depth research adopting literature research,case research,retrospective research,system analysis and other methods from sociology,economics,anthropology,design and other aspects and fields.It first analyzes the current situation and trends of the development of domestic and international industrial design and then summarizes the three profound changes that are taking place in China's industrial design,namely,innovative attributes,innovative relationships,and innovative formats.Therefore,an important argument for the transformation and upgrading of traditional design services in China to the design industry is put forward.As a result,the concept and characteristics of the industrial design industry are clearly defined.Based on the sociology of development,the theory of industrial life cycle,the window of opportunity for paradigm and paradigm shift,the theory of national competitive advantage,etc.,this paper uses the diamond model,SWOT analysis combined with Alibaba,Xiaomi,FOTILE and other cases to analyze how to promote the transformation of design services to the design industry,and how to build a new stage of industrial design development in China,i.e.,focusing on building new attributes of design innovation,new ecology of innovation-driven,new relationship of social development,and new posture of international influence under the background of intelligent interconnection as the trend of industry development.Finally,it proposes a specific plan of strategy implementation path.First,to establish an innovative public service platform includes national industrial design institutes and an industrial design industry Internet platform.Second,to set up standard achievements in industrial design,including the Global Design Industry Organization,the World Industrial Design Conference,and the China Excellent Industrial Design Award.Third,to initiate the industrial design talent training project,including the Open University of Design,the Industrial Design Leading Talents Program,and the capability and quality evaluation of design talents.Fourth,to enhance the role of industrial design in industrial development,including an action plan to enhance the design capabilities of the manufacturing industry,and a revitalization plan of design empowerment of rural industry.This paper analyzes and summarizes the development of industrial design during the past20 years in the world across the United States,the United Kingdom,Germany,Japan,South Korea,etc.It closely focuses on the Internet,big data and artificial intelligence and other technologies to propose China's future industrial design development strategy and implementation path based on the theory of industrial development.The research has certain theoretical significance and practical application value. |
