The Research On Value Innovation For Product Art Design Based On Function Design & Cost Control

The product innovation management has been enriched and developed in terms of its connotation and extension with the development of modem science and technology. Being the important part of the product innovation management, the product artistic design is even more the key means and way to the product value innovation. The cost control, function planning and rational design of the product are all the important factors that effect its worth, but amid existing research theory and development fulfillment, the three factors can not be carried out useful integration. According to this, this dissertation mainly studies how to carry out the art innovation of product design to promote product worth under the sistuation of cost control and function constraint.This dissertation consists of five parts, including eight chapters.The first part (the first chapter) particularly introduces the research purpose and meaning, domestic and international correlation study and research contents, method and route of this dessertation.The second part (the second chapter) systematically carries on the summary and absorption of the foundation theories involved in the dissertation, makes classification study on the product theories of artistic design, function, cost, value innovation and artistic design innovation from the connotation, contents and methods.The third part (the third chapter) focuses on the systematic study to process and method of traditional product artistic design, and analyses present problem of product artistic design.The conclusion thinks:the related process and methods of traditional product artistic design are mature, and applicated extensively in the society. But, the lack of systematic design process, the mismatch between design and function object, the impact of design and cost control, the lack of scientific evaluation system and proper status are common phenomena. Just because of the existence of these questions, this dissertation makes this systematical study from the product value innovation.The fourth part (the fourth chapter to the sixth chapter) is the body part of this dissertation. This part analyzes the correlation and mutual impact method of function planning, cost control and product artistic design innovation respectively by analysing the connotation, path and key impact factor of the product value innovation. The study shows:the product value innovation is on the concept of "the design creates worth" to strive for the optimization match of product design, function and cost, and maximizes the value of the product. The dissertment gives differentiation value innovation path of the product life cycle, product workflow and market - ripe degree according to the artistic innovation design; combines together value engineering workflow and artistic design process, and proposes a kind of product development optimization design mode under value engineering; puts forward the linear and nonlinear correlation of product artistic design and product function planning; proposes the new path of the product cost control from five aspects of the product modeling, product materials, product decoration, product brand and product promotion.The fifth part (the seventh chapter) sets up an evaluation system and model of the product artistic design under the rectrained conditions of the cost control and function planning. The evaluation system is designed from three dimensions, including 9 second-grade indexes and 44 third-grade indexes. The AHP is selected to be the principle quantitative assessment method to the object characters. At last, the summary of the dissertation and the prospect of the research are also covered at the end of this part.
