Abstract/Summary:
This Project Demonstrating Excellence represents an ethnographic research study utilizing a first person descriptive singular case study of a business reengineering process within a privately-held family business. It represents research findings in areas such as business reengineering, family business, family units, the process(s) of leadership as well as the change agent phenomenon. This case study is unique in that the author was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of a small, privately-held family business. In that role, with the authority extended, he was able to reengineer the business, enhance the lives of the stakeholders and develop an organizational structure that allowed the business to grow while sustaining those elements and attributes unique to a privately-held business.
