Research On The Trade Facility And Trade Potentials Of BRICS Countries

With the triumph of the BRICS summit,the cooperation among BRICS has once again become the focus of the world.The cooperation trend among BRICS nations affects the nerves of countries around the world.All of this is due to the growing influence of the BRICS.Nowadays,the BRICS has developed into a giant economic organization with an economy accounting for 23% of global GDP,international trade accounting for 16% of the world's international trade,and accounting for more than half of the world's economic contribution and the population accounting for 42% of the world's total,which leads to BRICS' powerful voice among developing countries and the whole world.With the fruitful results of the Xiamen Conference,the prospects for the development of the BRICS are even more promising and will likely to lead the new round of global economic recovery and the development of new economies.As a whole,the BRICS have great influence,and at the same time,the cooperation among the BRICS countries is also attracting worldwide attention.The BRICS countries share many similarities: numerous populations,vast land,high-speed economic development,and abundant resources.However,there are still huge differences among those countries.How to integrate the BRICS,give play to the comparative advantages of countries in trade,and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results among all countries,is the key to let BRICS have stronger influences to the world.Furthermore,the realization of trade facilitation within the BRICS countries is an effective way to enhance the comparative advantages of each country and achieve mutual benefits.The trade and investment facilitation research on the ultimate goal of reducing and eliminating technical and institutional obstacles in the international trade and investment process,improving the trade and investment environment and resource allocation,lowering transaction costs,and improving the efficiency of trade and investment in related countries will have a strong influence on the cooperation between BRICS countries.This dissertation is based on the perspective of the construction of trade facilitation system to study the related issues and countermeasures of BRICS countries' trade cooperation and overall competitiveness.Firstly,it introduces the background of thetopic,the significance of the topic,the research results at home and abroad,the research ideas,structural arrangements,research methods and innovations and deficiencies.Based on this,the relevant theoretical researches on trade and investment facilitation are carried out,and the concept of trade and investment facilitation is reviewed in details.The evaluation of international trade organizations on trade and investment facilitation is also studied.The fundamental theories are as follows,transaction cost theory,international trade related theory,and international investment.Theory and related theories of the intersection and integration of international trade and international investment are also the theoretical basis for trade and investment facilitation.Then turning into the empirical analysis,this dissertation will discuss the evolution process of the BRICS countries' trade development in detail,which can be divided into the current status of BRICS countries' overall trade development and the status of BRICS countries' bilateral trade development and the bottlenecks encountered in trade development.Based on the analysis of the status quo and issues,the construction of the trade facilitation index system in BRICS is studied.And the empirical analysis and model construction are mainly based on the construction of the facilitation index system and the measurement of the facilitation level.With regard to the development of trade facilitation in BRICS countries,this dissertation mainly analyzes the BRICS countries' trade facilitation framework,trade facilitation levels in BRICS countries,and the restrictive factors of trade facilitation in BRICS countries.And further discusses the Impact of the Level of National Trade Facilitation on Trade Flows among BRICS.Finally,the trade potential of the five BRICS countries will be measured,and from the perspective of promoting of trade facilitation organization and cooperation platform construction,improving the trade cooperation mechanism and system reform,and speeding up the supply chain construction of BRICS countries,improving cross-border cooperation performance,promoting the construction of BRICS value chains,deepening regional trade cooperation,promoting the construction of BRICS countries,this dissertation will give corresponding policy advice from four perspectives on the new international economic and trade rules based on empirical analysis of the results.
