Research On Promoting The Regional Economic Integrationof Guangdong,HK,Macao With The Implementation Of The Belt And Road Initiative

Since 1990 s,along with the economic globalization,international division of labor is deepening,while multilateral trade negotiations have been blocked.Regional economic integration is being used as an important form of participating international competition by many countries.Industrial clusters and urban clusters is much more important than ever for each country.After financial crisis,the growth of global economic isslow and weak,while competition among economies is increasingly fierce.In order to cope with such a situation,China actively start a new attempt of deepening reform and becoming more openness.Free trade area,domestic regional economic development planning,changing the government function and "The Belt and Road" strategy is carried out one after another.However,for China,the pressure of international economic and international political relations is unprecedented.The implementation of these strategies is full of hardships and challenges.Look back on history,the economic evolution of China economy is closely related to Hong Kong and Macao which are the forefront of reform and opening up of China.In the new era,the development of regional economic integration for Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao is important for China to break through the shackles of economic development and achieve the economic transformation.The area of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao(GHM)has beenan important economic growth pole of China,through reallocation of the internal and external factors to construct a city group of industrial agglomeration and division of labor,GHMcould remold the development model of China since 1978 at a higher level.This issignificant for the future economic development of China.In some degree,the research on the economic integration of GHM is to a great extent the study of China's economic development model.This paper studies on promoting the regional economy integration of Guangdong,HK,Macao with the Implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.Based on the opinion that the open international market and the domestic market are both important for the sustainable development of China,this paper usesthe theory of international economic integration,economic development theory and new economic geography theory to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis.Specifically,this paper is mainly divided into the following parts: The first part includes the first two chapters,mainly summarizes the existing research results and related reference,constructing an analytical framework of this paper,laying a theoretical foundation for the analysis;The second part includes the third and the fourth chapter,mainly analyzing the economic development potential of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao regions in the perspective of the history;The third part includes the fifth chapter and the sixth chapter,analyzing the industrial and financial regional integration status and the existing problems of GHM respectively;The fourth part is the seventh chapter,using space model to analyse radiation effects and social effects of integration,and how to stimulate and release radiation effects of GHM,which is essential of promoting the integration of the regional economy of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao in the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
