Research On Southern Jiangsu Rural Museum

China is an agriculture country in its transition period.Rapid industrialization and urbanization has brought huge impact to rural areas.Rural museums are bom under such environment to undertake the responsibility of protecting rural cultural heritages and to advocate the prosperity of rural society.Many researches have been conducted to the southwest ethnic museums while researches into non-ethnic rural museums are still blank.In recent years,many new rural museums are being built,and the existing rural museums have a variety of forms and qualities.Therefore,it is necessary to study the existing rural museum cases and provide valuable suggestions.This essay studies rural areas of southern Jiangsu Province which have advanced economic and cultural development and rural museum cases.It compared and analyzed development experiences of different types of rural museums,analyzed their main problems and challenges,and discussed how to solve these problems from both theoretical and practical levels.This essay consists of the following seven parts:Introduction:introduce the academic value and practical significance of this topic,and explain the current research situations.Chapter One:interpret the importance of building rural museums in the aspects of protecting rural area heritages,developing the museum enterprises and developing rural societies.Introducing the concept of Chinese rural museums from the changing of museum concepts,and put forward categorizing methods that fit rural museum researches.Chapter Two:analyze the characteristics of rural areas in southern Jiangsu Province and the development background of its rural museums.Discuss the history of rural museums in southern Jiangsu Province.Chapter Three:count and analyse the data of rural museums in Southern Jiangsu Province.Focus on classi:fication research from the perspective of problems about Agriculture,Ruralareas and Peasantry.Analyses the realization of social functions in rural museums.Chapter Four:conclude the typical models of rural museums in southern part of Jiangsu Province and analyze the problems in the development of rural museums in southern part of Jiangsu Province.Chapter Five:introduce classic examples of both foreign and local rual museums of the kind in China,and put forward corresponding strategies.Conclusion:review,conclude and comment on the development of rural museums in southern part of Jiangsu Province in both theoretical and practical aspects.This essay has reached the following results:1.Analyzed the birth of China,s rural museums from multiple aspects,and considered the necessity of developing China's rural museums thoroughly.2.Defined the definition and research boundaries of rural museums.3.Investigated current development situations of rural museums in southern part of Jiangsu Province.4.Analyzed multiple difficulties in rural museums development,and put forward strategies from inner and outer forces,providing significant 'suggestions to its development.
