With the rapid development of economic globalization and information technology,the management information system has changed from the traditional independent construction and application to the platform construction and service-oriented leasing.The new system,based on cloud computing technology,can effectively break the boundary between the traditional enterprises to improve the efficiency and quality of the business synergy among the value chain enterprises through a high convergence of resources,an efficient sharing of information and a transparent open process,thus promoting a transformation of management concept and manufacturing mode.This dissertation focuses on the concept,characteristics and application of cloud-based information system C-MIS.The main points are as follows.(1)The concept of C-MIS is put forward and a systematic research is made on its conceptual framework.Cloud computing technology has a transformational impact on the management information system,so the cloud-based information system C-MIS is a new stage,with its technology architecture and application mode different from the previous ones.By combing the development stages of the management information system and combining the new IT technology,this dissertation puts forward the concept of C-MIS and summarizes its features.According to the research paradigm of the information system,the supporting theory,architecture,standard specification and service mode of C-MIS are then carried out,therefore the concept of C-MIS is preliminarily established,which laid the foundation for a further research of related theories in the field of management information system.(2)The concept of collaborative value chain is put forward and its connotation is analyzed in depth,also the construction of Collaborative Value Chain in C-MIS environment is researched.The high convergence of manufacturing resources in C-MIS environment can offer diversified services and a dynamic allocation of resources.The accuracy and efficiency of the construction of the value chain is the key to the application of C-MIS.In this dissertation,the classification and combination of manufacturing resources are firstly analyzed.And then,based on the strong representation ability,reasoning ability and convenient extension ability of the ontology technology,the manufacturing resources are modeled.Finally,the matching method of manufacturing resources and service requirements is designed by using the principle of similarity,and the candidate value chains are optimized with grey evaluation.(3)The value creation path and mechanism in C-MIS is explored.This dissertation analyzes the key technical features of C-MIS and in combination with the information technology capability theory,puts forward two key capabilities of C-MIS,namely,system integration capability and dynamic configuration ability.Based on synergy theory,it puts forward two levels of collaboration in the operation process of value chain: strategic collaboration and operational collaboration.Therefore,it constructs a hypothetical model that the key C-MIS capability can improve enterprise performance by promoting the collaboration between the two levels among value chain enterprises.With a consideration of the regulating effect of TOE in C-MIS key capabilities,it then uses empirical methods to verify the hypothesis through theoretical deduction and data analysis and thus makes clear the value creation path and mechanism in C-MIS,while clarifying the effect of TOE on the promotion of inter-enterprise collaboration.(4)The construction and application of C-MIS is analyzed with a case study.Through an analysis of the current situation of the value chain operation in shipbuilding industry,the industrial demand of ship manufacturing is put forward.The main functions and development orientations of a shipping trade company,which is the key node of the shipbuilding value chain,are analyzed.Then the foundation and feasibility of establishing a digital collaborative manufacturing service platform for shipbuilding value chain are studied.After that,the collaborative manufacturing requirements of shipbuilding value chain,the overall functional planning of cloud-based service platform,and the core technology of this platform are summarized.Finally,the platform's key capability construction process,and its support for value chain collaboration are analyzed,and the application effect of this platform is summarized.Through the analysis of the construction process and application effect,it verifies the scientificity and applicability of the previous researches.To sum up,this dissertation,with C-MIS as the research object,establishes the concept system of C-MIS through literature review and theoretical deduction,designs the C-MIS-based value chain construction and management control,explores the value creation path and mechanism in C-MIS to improve the enterprise performance,therefore makes up for the research blank of cloud-based information system to a certain extent,and will provide guidance for the development and application of C-MIS in China.
