The study of Zhang Xue-cheng and his academic thoughts has been going on for a long time and has achieved fruitful result. But there is few research on the editions of Zhang Xue-cheng's works. We need to sort out the system of Zhang's manuscripts at once. This article selected four important manuscripts as the key research objects. They are the Shanghai Library collection the Zhang Shizhai's original manuscripts, the east China normal university collection the manuscript of Wen Shi Tong Yi which was copied by Lu Jiang He Shi,the manuscript of Zhang Shi Yi Shu which was collected by Taiwan's "National" Central library, and the "National" Library collection the Complete Works of Zhang Xue-cheng.These versions includes Zhang's original manuscripts,Zhang Xue-cheng's biographies of birth during his lifetime, and the private copies after his death. In this paper, through the research of the characteristics and the spreading process of the above versions. We find out that Zhang 's manuscripts have an important role in the examination of missing omissions. In addition, through the comparison with this manuscripts and Zhang Xue-cheng's writing conception,as well as the Da Liang edition and the Jia Ye Tang edition. We can examine the process of Zhang Xue-cheng's writing and revising process and the changes in his heart. The difference between these manuscripts and the publications can help us to reveal the development of Zhang's academic history and the formation history of Zhang's worksThe Zhang Shi-zhai 's original manuscripts is quite messy, but is the only one in the world. It is the first-hand information of Zhang Xue-cheng's research, which is of great documentary value. The Zhang Shizhai's original manuscripts is without the transmission and publication, which decided it is the most close to the original works of Zhang's writings. There are many revises and finalizes in the manuscripts.Through which we can see directly the writing and modification process.Furthermore,we can also investigate the changes of the author's thoughts.Secondly, despite the order of manuscripts is a little mess, the Valuable first-hand information can help us correct some edition errors and edition omissions. The manuscript of Wen Shi Tong Yi which was copied by Lu Jiang He Shi is one of the most important manuscripts. In the third chapter of this article, through the investigation of the Spreading process,we can sure that Lujiang Heshi is likely to be He Yuan-xi.The book has been collected by the following bibliophiles:Huang Pi-lie(???),Jiang biao(??),Sheng Xuan-huai(???),and then be collected by the east China normal university's library. The manuscript is earlier than the block-printed edition not only about the name of titles but also the self-annotations and some of the main body part. The manuscript has very important emendation value It can help us to correct the errors and the omissions of the common versions. What's more,it can also help us to study the writing and the modification process of the writer, and judge his academic changes before and after. In addition, this article also chose GanYu and Xu Tongzhi Jiaochou Lue Nigao as special cases for analysis.Because these two articles have particular differences between the manuscript and the block-printed edition of Jia Ye Tang's(????).After comparison,I find out that the change of Zhang Xue-chen's life experience and the maturity of his academic thought are the main reasons of his text change. The Manuscript of Zhang Shi Yi Shu which was collected by Taiwan's "National" Central library has thirty-four volumes. It is the representative of the stereotyped works. In the fourth chapter of this article,we take this manuscript as the center to study the stereotyped process of Zhang Shi Yi Shu.First, the order arrangement of Taiwan's manuscript is quite different from the block-printed edition of Jia Ye Tang's.It is named and arranged according to the writing time and writing location and not in accordance with Wang Zongyan's catalogue.Taiwan's manuscript is a staged version of Zhang Xue-cheng's.It provides us a new perspective about the writing process and the order of arrangementSecondly, through the study of the type pages, the signets, the bookmarks, the forewords and the postscripst, meanwhile the draft of Jing Fu,the diary of Jing Fu,the diary of Liu Cheng-gan,the letters of Liu Cheng-gan and so on.We can know that the Taiwan's manuscript is derived from Shen Fu-can,it has been collected or seeking to print by the followings, such as Zhang Shanqing,Zhang ShouKang,Zhou Lai-xian,Xu Wei-ze,Xu Mu,Shen Zen-zhi,Liu Cheng-gan,Chen Qun and so on.What's more,The Taiwan's manuscript is not only the original text of the Zhejiang Public Library photocopy of proofreading, but also the original text of the famous block-printed edition of Jia Ye Tang's.In the process of circulation, the manuscript was recopied by other Zhang's enthusiasts, such as the Xiao Xue's truncated manuscript,Ke Feng-shi's manuscript,Miu Quan-sun's manuscript,Xu Wei-ze's manuscript and so on and so forth. Therefore,The Taiwan's manuscript occupied an very important position in the history of the Zhang Xue-cheng's draft copies. One hundred thousand volumes of library belongs to Wang Zongyan and his son Wang Duan-lv.Wang Zong-yan got Zhang Xuecheng's deathbed and made a catalogue of Zhang Shi Yi Shu.However, the Complete Works of Zhang Xue-cheng which was copied by Wang's was not in accordance with the catalogue. It's apparently similarities to Zhang Hua-fu's catalogue but in fact not so.This situation adds another obstacle to the controversy of Zhang Shi Yi Shu's arrangement. Therefore, the fifth chapter of this article is centered on the Complete Works of Zhang Xue-cheng.I give a brief account of the relationship between Zhang Xue-cheng and Wang Zong-yan.And then examines Wang Zong-yan's cataloguing processThrough the investigation of the above versions,we can see the changes in the text of Zhang Xue-cheng's works,we can also see that Zhang's works are not easy to spread.Although, the content of this article is the core of the edition study,I also hope we can understand the text changes of Zhang's works and Zhang's academic development, and the inheritance and acceptance of Zhang Xue in later generations.
