With the increasing complexity and crossing of scientific research problems,interdisciplinary teams have become the main path to innovate and solve complex problems.In order to meet the development of the times,many research universities in China have established different types of interdisciplinary teams.These teams carry major scientific research tasks,such as national basic research and technological innovation.For interdisciplinary teams,high-quality knowledge interaction is the key to solve complex,difficult scientific problems and achieve innovation outcomes.However,there are still many complicated and difficult problems of knowledge interaction to be studied in the interdisciplinary team of research universities.Based on the relevant theories,such as team operation theory,social physics theory,complex system theory,and knowledge management theory,this paper used the methods of bibliometrics,qualitative research,empirical research,simulation analysis and mathematical modeling to construct overall conceptual model,process model and measurement model of knowledge interaction in the interdisciplinary teams of research universities.Through the establishment of these models,the study has conducted in-depth research on influencing factors of knowledge interaction,the process of knowledge interaction,and the measurement of knowledge interaction level.Solving the difficult problem is the key to complete the assignments and innovate for interdisciplinary teams.It has important theoretical and practical significance for improving the knowledge interaction level,enriching and expanding the relevant theories of knowledge management of interdisciplinary team,and promoting the rapid development of interdisciplinary teams.This paper combed the relevant theories,the concept and characteristics of research universities,interdisciplinary team and knowledge interaction.Then this paper defined the concept of knowledge interaction of interdisciplinary team in research universities,and analyzed its characteristics,such as knowledge heterogeneity,process dynamics and result uncertainty.According to the principle of modeling,knowledge interaction of interdisciplinary team in research universities was simplified,and the relationship,process and measurement result were mainly described by appropriate forms or rules.Then the overall framework of knowledge interaction model in the interdisciplinary team of research universities was constructed,consisting of overall conceptual model,process model and measurement model of knowledge interaction.Based on the framework,this study constructed and analyzed these three models.Using the grounded theory method,sub-category,main category and core category were formed,and the relationship between these concepts were found through the collection and coding of interview data.Further,the overall conceptual model of knowledge interaction in the interdisciplinary team was constructed.The model was mainly composed of six main categories: attributes of team member,characteristics of team task,team interaction environment,team interaction resources,knowledge interaction and the results of knowledge interaction.The empirical research method was used to further validate the overall conceptual model of knowledge interaction.By hypothesis testing and results analysis on 448 sample data,the results showed that the antecedents(attributes of team member,characteristics of team task,team interaction environment,team interaction resources)played different roles in knowledge divergence and knowledge aggregation process;knowledge divergence and knowledge aggregation process positively affected the results of knowledge interaction;the process of knowledge divergence positively affected the process of knowledge aggregation within the process of knowledge interaction.After the qualitative and empirical research on the overall conceptual model of knowledge interaction,this paper divided the knowledge interaction process of interdisciplinary team into four sub-phases: the initial ideas generation,knowledge fission,knowledge fusion and program verification.And a knowledge interaction Markov process model was constructed.Through the series of Matlab simulation analysis,the knowledge interaction processes in the different situations were simulated.Furthermore,the credibility and effectiveness of the model were illustrated by an example.The results revealed the internal relationship of each stage in the process of knowledge interaction and the transformation law from knowledge fission to knowledge fusion in the interdisciplinary team.The measurement index of knowledge interaction level in the interdisciplinary team was constructed from three dimensions: knowledge interaction depth,knowledge interaction breadth and knowledge interaction speed.Then a measurement model of knowledge interaction level is constructed using the combination of triangular fuzzy weight,entropy weight and fuzzy integral,Furthermore,this study confirmed the operability of the model in the measurement of knowledge interaction of the actual team through an example.This study provided a new tool for measuring the level of knowledge interaction.This paper put forward the construction strategy of knowledge interaction in the interdisciplinary team of research universities from the three aspects: influencing factors of knowledge interaction,the process of knowledge interaction and the level of knowledge interaction.
