University interdisciplinary team is the main organizational form to solve major scientific problems and social problems, and innovation is the fundamental driving force for the development of interdisciplinary teams. How to improve the innovation ability of university interdisciplinary team is the concern of the management personnel and the scientific and technical workers.University interdisciplinary team wants to achieve a breakthrough innovation ability must break the boundaries of the original organization, the establishment of ultra-discipline networks for more heterogeneous knowledge.Therefore, This paper takes the university interdisciplinary team as the research object, and takes the knowledge network dual embeddedness as the starting point, and focuses on the research topic of "knowledge network dual embedd edness and university interdisciplinary team innovation ability", Through theoretical discussion and empirical study findings: knowledge network dual embeddedness has positive impact on the innovation ability of university interdisciplinary team, and the effect of the ultra-discipline network on the incremental innovation and radical innovation is significantly higher than the discipline network; The knowledge network dual embedding has positive effect on knowledge integration, but the role of the discipline and the ultra-discipline network to complementary knowledge integration and supplementary knowledge integration is different. The discipline network to support supplementary knowledge integration is bigger, while ultra-discipline network even more important for complementary knowledge integration; The knowledge network dual embeddedness effect university interdisciplinary team innovation ability through knowledge integration, but it is different to the mechanism of the two kinds of innovation ability, knowledge network dual embeddedness through supplementary knowledge integration positive impact on incremental innovation capability, through complementary knowledge integration positive impact on radical innovation capability.Conclusions of this paper for the university interdisciplinary team, in the construction of the discipline of the network at the same time, we must actively break disciplinary boundaries, pay more attention to the construction of ultradiscipline network;In addition, university interdisciplinary team should select a reasonable knowledge integration strategy, to provide the necessary knowledge base for innovation.
