The research of Interdisciplinary is the key to solve complex problems. The disciplinary clusters of colleges and universities make the establishment of interdisciplinary knowledge team possible, however, the differences and conflicts of disciplinary cultural elements, the organizational structure and system of checks and balances of the disciplines layer system have hindered its development, then the development and promotion of university interdisciplinary knowledge team have become the urgent need to study and solve the problem.Based on the analysis to define the basic concepts of the university interdisciplinary knowledge team, this paper conducts a comparative analysis that about the situations of the construction of universities interdisciplinary and the development of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, and through the definition of the meaning and characteristics of the maturity of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, this paper gives an expression framework of the maturity of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, designs the evaluation model of the maturity of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, then conducts the evaluation analysis on a number of colleges and universities about the maturity of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, and gets the related evaluation conclusions. In the meanwhile, this paper conducts the associated with system design of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, and further the related institutional arrangements, also the design of organization model and the organizations operating mode of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, the research of improvement operational mechanisms and resources to support system of university interdisciplinary knowledge team. The main innovations are the following three aspects:(1) Put forward the concept of universities interdisciplinary knowledge team, study the behaviors and achievements characteristics, and on the basis of statistical analysis of the typical team and a landmark achievement, research team age composition, titles constitution, academic composition and numbers of mark achievements, the correlation between the span and level, come up with the maturity of university interdisciplinary knowledge team is not only expressive, and also testability.(2) Put forward the concept of the maturity of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, set up the stage expression framework and quantify the standard system of the maturity of university interdisciplinary knowledge team, construct system measurement model of team maturity based on the mature cumulative degree of the grade level of maturity value, class growth curve and the change of limit points, select typical teams to do the evaluation resolution, get a series of valid conclusions, then initially improve the measurement state of non- quantization in the early various maturity model.(3) Based on the real demand, carry out the systematic study about the maturity to enhance the problem of university interdisciplinary knowledge team from four levels of the institutional arrangements, organizational building, improvement mechanisms and resources to support, and analysis to select the related upgrade program, propose a package of policy recommendations.
