Purpose: The aim of the present study is to explore post activation potentiation(PAP)response on take-off force of long jump as main purpose in theory and practice.It discusses the potential theroyies and investgates PAP response of back squat on take-off force performance of long jump from perspectives of kinematics,kinetics and EMG indicators,then evaluates long term effects of take-off force training combined with PAP in 8 weeks.Methods: The present study mainly uses literature,expert interviews,experimental measurements and mathematics statistics methods.Conclusions:1.The extensor muscles of lower limbs in take-off stage undergo a stretchshorting cycle.The characteristics of take-off force is ploymetric force of three lower limb joint muscle of the take-off leg.The ploymetric forces of muscle groups around hip,knee and ankle of the take-off leg cooperate with take-off technique and decide the preformance of long jump together.2.Using literature and expert interviews,this research designes short-term effect experiment of long jump take-off force based on PAP,and it gets kinematics,kinetics and EMG indicators after different laod modes half squat on second level long jump athletes in 3-15 minutes by using three advanced equipments of biomechanical simultaneously.The results showes that subjects have deep degree of fatigue and most indexes declined at all time points after 90%1RM mode.Under 70%1RM mode,subjects have better performance.Subjects show the best performance after 80%1RM mode among all three different modes.3.PAP has positive effects on stretch-shorting cycle,and make muscle perform same or greater contraction force in a shorter cycle.The suitableconditioning activity can produce PAP to enhance working ability of the muscles and control fatigue at a lower level.To long jump event,all kinds of resistance training which could meet the event characteristics requirements can induce PAP successfully,but it needs to take personal characteristic into account.These enhancements can be analysed by kinematics,kinematics,kinetics,EMG indicators and performances.4.This research compares 80%1RM modes combined with ploymetrics training in 8 weeks.The result shows that experimental group achieved higher increasing than control group in all test events with significantly higher in long jump test.5.To short-term effect of PAP,coaches can enhance competitive status of long jump athletes and achieve better results in warm-up before competition by utilizing different kinds of conditioning activities.From a long-term perspective,strength and conditioning coaches can design training programs based on PAP to enhance athletes take-off ability as long as each athlete’s response to PAP is being considered.
