Research On The Spirit Of The Contemporary Model Workers Of China

Model Worker is the outstanding representative of thousands of advanced model figures and a model group of hundreds of millions of working people in our country.Since the 1930 s,under the unity and leadership of the Communist Party of China,a number of model workers have forged a great working spirit in the great practice of China's revolution and construction.We must affirm the role of the model worker and promote their spirit,for it has very important guiding significance in adhering to the guiding ideology of Marxism,promoting the Chinese spirit,strengthening ideological and political education,cultivating socialist builders and successors for the all round development of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetics and labour education and uniting the strength of China and then realizing the "two centenary goals" and the Chinese dream of the great renewal of the Chinese nation.This paper first studies the theoretical basis of the spirit of contemporary Chinese model workers.It clearly defines the philosophical ideas related to Marxism,relevant views in Lenin's socialist ideological theory as the theoretical basis for the study of spirit of contemporary Chinese model workers,the excellent traditional Chinese culture as its theoretical support,and the relevant theoretical achievements of the Chinese Communists as its theoretical reference.On the basis of this,this paper further studies the connotative features of the spirit of loyalty to work,striving for the superior,hard work,innovation,not caring about fame and wealth,willing to dedicate.This spirit not only has the characteristic of nationalism and times,political and mass nature,objectivity and motility,advancement and tortuosity,practicality and development etc,but also has the tremendous function of direction and cohesion,education and inspiration,motivation and driving.This paper elaborate that the spirit of ContemporaryChinese model workers embodies the connotative features of the times of“revolutionary style”,“the willing horse”and “innovation” in the germinating,embryonic stage and mature stage of development respectively.Its history of formation development is the Chinese working people's struggling history led by the solidarity of modern Communism Party of China and the course of socialist construction and reform and opening-up,is the sipritual history of model workers' patriotic dedication,ardurous struggle,industrious efforts,and positive enterprising,which leaves the precious historic experience for our inheritance and promotion of the spirit in new era.This paper criticizes the erroneour argument against the spirit of model workers,analyzes reasons that leads to a decline in identity and influence of spirit of contemporary Chinese model workers and then proposes a route to promote this spirit in contemporary China,namely,arming our minds with Xi Jinping's socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era,carrying out the Party's and state's major policies,establishing scientific ideological values,doing a good job in theoretical research on the spirit of model workers,and stimulating the endogenous motive force of the spirit of model workers in contemporary China.Besides,we should strengthen the leadership and support the Party and the government for the work of model workers,give full play to the positive role of mass organizations,strengthen the awareness of self-improvement of model workers,and make them more demonstrative of the exemplary force of promoting the spirit of model workers.We also should take the opportunity of major celebrations,grasp the important time nodes,give full play to the propaganda role of the mainstream media,promote the creation of innovative workshops for model workers,and normalize the promotion of the spirit of contemporary Chinese model workers.In addition,we should incorporate the promotion of the spirit of model workers into the system of moral,intellectual,physical and aesthetic education,into the system of honor recognition with Chinese characteristics,into the torrent of the era of innovation and entrepreneurship,into the strategy of building a socialist cultural power with Chinese characteristics,and closely integrate and develop the promotion of the spirit of model workers with the cultivation and practice of the core values of Chinese socialism,inheritance and promotion of Chinese spirit,resolution of cultural confidence,and development of cultural industry of modelworkers and then make the spirit of model workers an eternal spiritual banner.
