Study Of FangZheng For Shu Yu Wan Based On HuangHuang's "Formula-Disease-Person" Theory

OBJECTIVE:To summarize the experience of ancient and modern clinical application of the ancient formula whose treat deficiency taxation name ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill),to clarify the Applicable Conditions and Population Characteristics of ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill),and to provide clinical experience for the further safe and effective use of ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill).METROUALS:This study adopts the method of literature retrospective research,which is based on the analysis of the ancient and modem literature related to ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill)and the clinical case of the author's instructor Professor HuangHuang,and carries out classical literature analysis,clinical case analysis,case statistics and social investigation to extract The prescription of the ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill)is applicable to the disease and to the applicable population.RESULTS:The main disease conditions of ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill)was mainly distributed in Advanced Tumors,Senile Diseases,Anemia,Chronic Cough,Chronic Digestive Diseases,Postpartum Deficiency,etc.Most of them were prolonged or end-stage of deeline.For Population Characteristics are more common in middle-aged and elderly people,their body weight loss,complexion and skin color sallow,cold limbs,muscle atrophy,weak pulse,weak tongue,thin white fur and so on.Common symptoms are weariness fatigue,loss of appetite,sleep disorders,loose stools,cold,cough,palpitations,chest tightness,joint ache.It is found that the ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill)is suitable for the "Deficiency Taxation concurrently with Wind",which is a deficiency taxation characterized by weight loss,fatigue and loss of appetite.The factors of constitutional formation are mostly related to the failure to cure in time,long-term illness,surgery,radiotherapy and chemotherapy,malnutrition and advanced age.The clinical case of the instructor and other literature investigations found that the prescription has good curative effect on advanced tumor and chronic debilitating diseases,especially in the treatment of advanced tumors,which can increase appetite,increase body weight,improve anemia,improve quality of life,and prolong life-span without any side effects.From the analysis of the efficacy of the group,the ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill)are composed by ZhiGanCaoTang,GuiZhiTang,BaZhenTang,LiZhongWan,ChaiHuGuiZhi-Tang and ShiQuanDaBuTang,etc.The main medicinal herbs are ShuYu(Dioscorea Oppositifolia L),DaZao(Fructus Jujubae)and GanCao(Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae),the formula can strengthens and builts up the spleen and stomach,nourishing blood and benefit Qi,scatters and disperses wing.Pharmacological studies suggest that Dioscorea opposita has the functions of enhancing immunity,delaying the progression of slow renal failure,protecting kidney function,promoting leukocyte and red blood cell growth,and inhibiting tumor cell proliferation.The ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill)fully reflects the treatment principles of traditional Chinese medicine for strengthening healthy to eliminate pathogens factors.CONCLUSION:Based on a retrospective study of the literature on ShuYuWan(Dioscorea Pill),this study believes that the application of this formula is wide and safe,and can be used as a prescription for advanced tumors,as a therapeutic side in the process of chronic wasting diseases,and as an elderly health care provider in clinical application.
