There are characteristics that are high precision of distance,strong anti-interference ability,strong anti-stealth capability,a good range cut-off characteristic and strong penetrability for ultra wide band(UWB)radio fuze to detect target by transmission and reception of very narrow pulse signal.There is no mature theory and technology to use for reference,because UWB radio fuze adopted no carry wave technology which is different from other radio fuze on the principle.Moreover,UWB radio fuze as a new proximity fuze system the detection theory is not yet complete and the detection performance can be greatly improved.Therefor,the purpose of this article is that research UWB radio fuze detection theory and the optimization method.The result is that the UWB radio fuze detection theory is improved,which fuze detection performance requirements are satisfied for different operational requirements.The consummation research in this paper are as follows.The UWB radio fuze detection equation is established.Modeling and optimization of narrow pulse generation circuit are based on step recovery diode.Modeling and optimization of UWB radio fuze balanced sampling integral receiver are accomplished.UWB radio fuze planar triangular symmetry oscillator antenna is optimized.The main innovative work in this article is as follows.A mathematic model for the reception of UWB radio fuze is established,which base on reception principle of UWB radio fuze echo signal and time domain Doppler effect.Near field propagation attenuation model of free space UWB narrow pulse is established by UWB narrow pulse spectrum distribution and Hertz dipole electromagnetic field model.According to UWB radio fuze detection theory and UWB narrow signal near field propagation attenuation characteristics and target echo signal characteristics,the UWB radio fuze detection equation is established and lay the foundation for researching UWB radio fuze and optimization design.According to narrow pulse generation principle of step recovery diode and step recovery diode positive and reverse bias,based step recovery diode forward biased and reverse biased admittance barrier capacitance narrow pulse generating circuit transient mathematical model is established.The effect of circuit parameters(Including Energy storage inductance,Blocking capacitor and Load resistance)and step recovery diode parameters(Including Minority carriers life time,Reverse saturation current,Zero bias junction capacitance and Doping distribution coefficient)on narrow pulse amplitude and width is researched,which provide the basis for UWB radio fuze narrow pulse generating circuit optimization design.Base on UWB radio fuze balanced sampling integral receiver principle and use circuit transient analysis method to establish UWB radio fuze balanced sampling integral receiver mathematical model on time domain,and the balanced sampling integral receiver output signal expression is solved by Laplace transform.According to UWB radio fuze balanced sampling integral receiver mathematical model,the effect of sampling pulse width and pulse repetition period to fuze receiver output signal amplitude are researched,which lays the foundation for the optimization design of UWB radio fuze receivers.Time-frequency co-simulation method for UWB radio fuze antenna is proposed.Single frequency signal and UWB narrow pulse signal are used to excitation planar triangular symmetrical oscillator antenna.The effect of antenna dimensions to antenna voltage standing wave ratio,radiation characteristics and rime domain characteristics of radiation signals are researched.The antenna dimensions are optimized(opening angle,side length,bottom spacing).The efficiency of planar triangular symmetrical oscillator antenna of UWB radio fuze is improved.Which provides the basis for the optimization design of planar triangular symmetry oscillator antenna in UWB radio fuze.On the basis of research results in this article,the prototype of UWB radio fuze is completed and debugged.The influence of step recovery diode parameters on the amplitude and width of narrow pulse signal is analyzed by testing two different types of step recovery diode pulse width and width of the narrow pulse,and the feasibility of the optimization method for narrow pulse generation circuit of UWB radio fuze is verified.The influence of sampling pulse width on the output signal amplitude of the fuze receiver is analyzed by UWB radio fuze signal amplitude at the receiver output sampling pulse width to test different circumstances.The fuze receiver performance is optimized and the sensitivity of the fuze receiver is improved.The fuze default blown high is 15 m,and measured fuze receiver output signal amplitude is 0.3V,the fuze can be booted normally.The test result shows that the theory of UWB radio fuze detection and optimization method established in this article are reasonable and feasible.
