With the modern archetype theory as the entry point of the paper,the archetype theory and traditional Chinese philosophical thoughts such as Buddhism combined,from the overlapping prospective of philosophy and psychology,some basic theoretical contents of architectural archetypes is put forward.Then based on solving the problem of cultural deficiency of Chinese contemporary architecture,this paper puts forward the idea of architecture creation aiming at building the characteristics of Chinese architectural prototype.Based on this theoretical foundation,the theoretical cognitive framework of architectural space archetype creation is constructed,which reveals the complex relationship between ideology and architectural space image,thereby broadening the research scope of architecture in the cultural field.Or,in this paper,based on traditional Chinese philosophical thoughts,through two main clues,Buddhism and Yi-ology,with the theory and method of architectural space archetype creation as the goal,a modernized and nationalized research system of Chinese architecture is established and centering upon this,the humanistic core and spiritual essence of modern architecture are explored at the same time.Under the creative vision of humanistic spirit,contemporary architecture has evolved into an abstract metaphor symbol and triggered emerging architectural thoughts based on postindustrial society in the contemporary architectural field by means of its media attributes such as information,communication and narration.Based on various aesthetic rules and related theories that have appeared under the research-type creation concepts,the view expressed in this point is that all modern design theories are simply improvement and new interpretation of traditional concepts in the new era and under new technical conditions.Besides,though the modern architecture theory originates from and prevails in the west,obviously,their so-called new theory has been deeply influenced by traditional oriental culture to a certain degree.Based on the above,the angles that the eastern and western cultures are good at synthesized,i.e.the western "Physical" angle and the oriental"Metaphysical",the spiritual connotation and ideological quality that modern architecture should have analyzed,which is the prototype expression of modern architecture.Attempt to define the pioneering design concepts with their own aesthetic and cultural characteristics in contemporary China is tried through logic construction involving philosophy and psychology is made to realize construction of spiritual culture and the rational expression of the architectural culture system and artistic creation of contemporary China.In the main part of this paper,first,based on the deep-level cognition of the modern archetype theory in the Chinese traditional philosophy,followed by expansion in the architectural field,from a number of angles of origin,definition,connotation,characteristics,levels and significance of architectural archetypes,the basic theory of the architectural archetype thought is studied and no "Polarity"archetype thought is put forward.What is the most important in the archetype thought is the exploration of the connotation of archetypes,the world structure,order,rules and their characterization contained in the archetype.This paper holds that different psychological ecology will produce different archetypal expressions,that is,the choice of the archetype connotation will be different,so there must be different expression images in the architecture of each nation or region.No"Polarity" means no difference or extremity and elimination of binary opposition-based architectural creation ideas,with integration,chaos,nonlinearity and dialectics as its representative features.Then,with the creation theory of architectural space as the clue in the paper,the way of presentation of archetype connotation in these fields is discussed in terms of philosophical thought,space rhythm and geometric expression.In philosophy,the traditional Chinese concept of "middle way" is a world view and methodology based on the theory of promise.If it is used in architectural creation,it will become one of the important contents of architectural philosophy,and it can indicate new features for architectural applied science direction.Therefore,for the creation of Chinese archetypes,the middle-level thinking of architectural philosophy requires relatively clear cognition and definition.With regard to the rhythm of space,this paper proposes the rhythm of the dual transformation law according to the traditional Chinese YiJing theory.It is the rhythm of the architectural space and the theoretical source of the theoretical transformation law spiritual wrote.The geometric composition is the basic content of architectural creation.This part of the paper has made some explorations.Some of the pioneering ideas are not perfect,but they are first proposed in the field of architecture.The "extreme" prototype idea is based on the many connotations of the prototype,and the prototype selection is based on the full understanding of the most essential philosophical views of Chinese tradition.Finally,based on the transition law of the dual noumenon nature type in the archetype thought connotation,the humanistic spirit embodied by dual noumenon and actual embodiment method in architectural space are deeply observed,which includes "centripetality" and "centripetality","generation and dissolving" and "empty and having".The spiritual essence of Chinese architectural modernization revealed in the research results of the dissertation is the humanization and nationalization ofChinese modern architecture.Since the reform and opening-up of China,the architectural field has gone through the process from blindly following the international fashion to seeking the presentation of different dominant forces in the ideology and then to exploring the subtle relationship between politics&economy and art;ideology and culture forms based on the image representation of architecture.This paper is intended to discuss the general common cultural tradition issues in architectural space through specific research content,with the aim to make breakthroughs in the practical difficulties brought about by cultural faults in the architectural modernization practice of China.
