Automatic Transmission(AT)has incomparable advantages with Manual Transmission(MT).It simplifies the manipulation of the complexity of the driver,reducing driver fatigue strength,and improving driving comfort.The traditional development process of automatic transmission has some deficiencies,such as low efficiency,poor security,energy conservation and emission reduction etc.Therefore,developing a hybrid simulation platform for the development of Automated Mechanical Transmission(AMT)controller,which is suitable for the indoor test,is a research direction at home and abroad in recent years.AMT hybrid simulation platform can be used to develop and test the strategy of the automatic transmission controller,and available online debug the controller parameters.It can focus on how to optimize the shifting quality to complete the development of controller strategy.According to different road conditions and working conditions,it is able to repeat the test and improve the controller codes.It can also be used for the transmission of the reliability test,fatigue test,and the task of teaching demonstration.And it has high development efficiency,good safety,strong repeatability,economical,environmental protection and other advantages.In this paper,firstly,the kinetic analysis of AMT transmission system and AMT platform is launched.Combined with the AMT vehicle,the driver's intention is analyzed,and the characteristics of each stage in the process of vehicle and three indexes of AMT automotive ride comfort are analyzed,to lay the foundation for the hybrid modeling and simulation.Then,starting from the actual needs of the project,the hardware configuration of the hybrid simulation test bench is studied,and the motor torque and power demand is analyzed.And the hybrid simulation platform selection scheme is given.And then,this paper expounds the concept and the hybrid simulation method,discusses the characteristics and function of the platform environment of xPC Target hybrid simulation,analyzies the architecture of the simulation test environment based on xPC Target.These models,including AMT transmission model,clutch model,engine model,electronic throttle model,vehicle dynamic model and the upper computer control model,are developed based on the above analysis.The various models of the structure and the relationship between input and output are analyzed.Five kinds of data interface between the central model and various peripheral equipments are developed.Finally,combined with the bench tests,starting from the basic function and the performance of the hybrid simulation test bench,the control performance and response accuracy of the driving motor and loading motor are studied.Remote control test with CAN is verified.The noise in the running process of the system is analyzed.The basic performance test of the centrifugal clutch is completed.The test and analysis of braking performance of hydraulic retarder are also completed.Analysis of the influence of different sampling periods set of test data is presented.Using wavelet function to the noise test data denoising is carried out,analysis of the test data to the actual effect after noise is presented.Using MT and AMT as the hardware objects in the loop test,initially formed the hardware and software environment for the hybrid simulation bench,which can improve shift quality development and test controller shift strategy.Development of automotive automatic transmission simulation test bench has higher application value,and the bench has the important meaning to the development of the automatic transmission controller.
