The Space Research Of Southern-Courtyard-based On The Connectivity Of Spaces

The courtyard is a transitional space between architecture and landscape,which is not only a traditional architectural space form,but also an integral part of landscape architecture.The courtyard is a model of combination of architecture and garden landscape.It is a kind of demand for people to live in,and it is also a perfect way to satisfy the residential landscape.The courtyard space satisfies people's need for rest,communication and appreciation,which contains the idea of density and dispersion,centripetal and open,neat and natural.,is the expression of Chinese traditional garden aesthetics thought.With the development of the subject,landscape architecture is more concerned with the design and construction of garden space.This paper combines the examples of classical garden research in Jangnan and the research results of architecture,landscape architecture and aesthetics,collecting data through questionnaires,analysis of factors affecting the satisfaction of visitors,using the spatial connectivity to study the courtyard space of Southern-garden,reveals the law of spatial connectivity of courtyard space.The paper starts from the perspective of space,parse the courtyard space of Southern-garden from the function,characteristic,hierarchy,constructing elements,intention to five aspects,analyze the relationship between garden courtyard and space in south China.In the form of questionnaire to collect visitors' activity data in five courtyard Spaces and satisfaction with different Spaces in “Pian Shi Shan Fang” of “He yuan Garden” in Yang Zhou,”Xiao Cang Lang” and “Hai Tang Chun Wu”of “Zhuo Zheng yuan Garden “in Su Zhou,"Xiang Yue Lang" of “Yi Pu”,“Dao He Guan” of “Wang Shi Yuan”,analyze the collected data and find the spatial nodes with high satisfaction.The influence of spatial accessibility,space size,green space ratio,plant species,water area and garden sketch on tourist satisfaction was analyzed by sequential logistic regression model.Sequential logistic regression model was used to analyze space accessibility,space size,green space ratio,plant species,water area and garden sketch on tourist satisfaction,identify the factors that have the greatest impact on visitors' satisfaction.The concept of "spatial connectivity" is proposed based on the theory of homogeneity space,space syntactic,spatial sequence,space accessibility,garden aesthetics,anchoring effect and so on.Spatial connectivity is used to quantitatively analyze the spatial nodes with highest tourist satisfaction in five courtyard Spaces in “Pian Shi Shan Fang” of “He yuan Garden” in Yang Zhou,”Xiao Cang Lang” and “Hai Tang Chun Wu” of “Zhuo Zheng yuan Garden “in Su Zhou,"Xiang Yue Lang" of “Yi Pu”,“Dao He Guan” of “Wang Shi Yuan”,calculate the spatial average connectivity of each node.Analyze and compare the spatial average connectivity of each node,then find the internal law and establish the model.The geometrical method is used to verify that the courtyard space of Southern-garden is not only satisfactory to the visitors,but also the average connectivity of the space in each space is also in proportion to the golden ratio.When the courtyard space has good spatial accessibility,high spatial syntax connection value,and spatial sequence is located in the climax position,in line with the traditional aesthetic concept of Chinese garden,the courtyard space is not only in the senses such as sight,hearing,color sense and so on to make the visitor feel enjoyment and pleasure,at the same time its space structure also accords with the golden ratio of mathematics.Through the case analysis of garden courtyard space.,a mathematical model for spatial design is established based on the spatial average connectivity,which is "concave mold".The courtyard space based on this model that is more in line with the Chinese classical garden aesthetic tradition and also accords with the proportional and logic law of geometry when the space average connectivity value approximates to 0.618.The innovation of the paper lies in: analyze the factors that affect the tourist satisfaction by using sequence logistic regression model;This paper proposes and applies the concept of "spatial connectivity" to analyze the courtyard space of Southern-garden;Reveals the law of spatial connectivity behind the appearance of "tourist satisfaction",the design of courtyard space not only brings visual comfort and emotional pleasure to visitors,but also complements the golden ratio of geometry,providing support for the digital design of courtyard space.
