Industrial restructuring is an important problem in China.Different from the resource exhausting city,industry restructuring problems of common cities had seldom been studied in former works.The research methods used in former works for industrial restructuring were mainly focused on qualitative analysis.A few works were performed using statistical data without the attitude of complex system.This paper analyzes the evolution mechanism of cities' industrial restructuring with complex system theory.System dynamics model and computational experiments are proposed to research the macro and micro problems of industrial restructuring respectively.Finally,Yangzhou is used as a study case to analyze the industrial restructuring.The detailed research contents in this paper include a summary of the relevant theories of industrial restructuring firstly.Through analyzing research results and absorbing the research ideas,the paper suggests a valid schedule for this work.Based on this work,the role,behavior and influence factors for industrial restructuring are analyzed by complex system theory.Comprehensive integration is proposed as the main method of this paper.On the basis of previous work,this paper uses system dynamics method to analyze the dynamic mechanism of city of industrial restructuring.The causal relationship among the analysis of talent,technology,the environment and other factors are shown by the system dynamics model.The validity of the model is proved by the statistical data from 2005 to 2011.On the base of this dynamics model,multiple sets of simulation experiments are proposed in the paper to research the influence mechanism of major factors on cities' industrial restructuring.In order to study the enterprise independent behavior,a virtual city system is constructed by the method of computational experiments.The actions of virtual enterprise are chosen to update their performance.The results of experiments show the promotion mechanism of micro level of government policy on industry restructuring behavior.This work provides decision support for the government to formulate a more effective policy for industrial restructuring.Finally,the present situation of Yangzhou City is considered as the case of this paper.The issues of industrial restructuring for Yangzhou city is putted forward in this section.Some effective strategies are proposed to promote the industrial restructuring for Yangzhou city.The work of this paper shows significance on the industrial restructuring policy of China cities.However,since the work content of this paper is limited,some non-critical factors are not considered in the model.The validity of the results may be affected by this problem.An important future research direction for this paper is considered more factors in the analysis of industrial restructuring.
