We research the internet female images from the perspective of cultural criticism due to the motivation of completing the research on the “media female images” and the phenomenon of internet culture anomie,especially our puzzle and worry caused by the actual difficulty of the internet cultural values.Since the World Conference on Women was held in Beijing in 1995,the research on the “media female images” has attracted much attention in Chinese academic circle,and raised an upsurge for a time.However,after that,the research entered into a “cooling " depression period and became an “embarrassing" field,which mainly was manifested in the contrast between the significance of the topic for discussion and the relatively few high-quality research works and the comprehensive researches combined with the realistic context.In the practice of internet culture,the hotspots and main content of Chinese internet culture in the commercialized development are manifested in the tendency of the value orientation of indulging in pleasure,avoiding pain and being orgiastic in the undesirable expansion of the current consuming cultural market,and the internet is full of beauty pictures and pornographic words,which need to be managed and stopped urgently.In view of the defects in the above researches and practice,this research strives to start the research on the Chinese internet female images and the writing of its culture from following five aspects.Firstly,investigate the appearance of female images in the internet culture hotspots.Since the commercialization was explored in 1995,Chinese internet has experienced the time alternation from Web1.0 to Web3.0,and female images have appeared one by one with the endless internet culture hotspots in all stages.From the beginning of 1995 to the beginning of 1996,internet was in a preliminary stage when it was constructed and developed at the same time.Surfing the internet was not popular,people didn't start to discuss the “internet culture” and “internet hotspots ",and there were no female images attracting wide attention.During the period of Web1.0 from 1997 to 2002,“network literature" became a hotspot in Chinese internet culture.The network writers expressed the fantasy,longing and decadence of young people who were in the germination stage of love in their urban romance stories.In their love novels,there were many pictures and scenes describing intimate,romantic and love relations between men and women,and various female images appeared one by one.During the period of Web2.0 from 2003 to 2009,women swarmed into the network community by blogs,forums and others,and their speech right without threshold looked like an opened Pandora's Box,and they wrote their desires in SNS to attract attention.During the period of Web3.0 from 2010 to now,the emergence of microblogs and mini videos assisted in writing multifarious desires for women images widely,and women images were displayed as the materials and the erotic objects.Secondly,summarize the different types and features of female images based on screening and integrating the internet culture hotspots and the appearance of female images.The female images can be divided into three types approximately according to the different features of the internet female images noticed.The first type is the female images as the objects of “aesthetics ",which are manifested in pursuing the pleasant sensation produced by functional beauty and earning money and releasing individuality by nudity.The second type is the female images as the consumption objects which sell themselves initiatively or are sold by others for fame and wealth,and female emotions,looks and figures,blandishments and others are shown as the selling points,and netizens consume them in the form of “staring".The third type is the female images which are joked on internet and appear in the speech revelry in the form of kuso,cyber manhunt,post and others.They show the features of collective revelry and result in the funny and biting effect.Usually,they will cause rational anomie and cyber violence with the belief of “revel to be dead”.Thirdly,analyze the cultural values carried by female images in the interactive relation with the realistic context.The core of culture is values,and the central task of cultural research is to sum up and reflect on values.Therefore,based on summarizing the types and features of internet female images,we still need to reflect on and criticize the text from the level of consciousness and spirit,interpret the cultural values reflected on it,and reveal the operating mechanism of speech power behind the text.In a word,the cultural values reflected by the internet female images are the thought of indulging in pleasure,avoiding pain and being orgiastic.Namely,pursue pleasure in the satisfaction of desires.The desires are endless,and the intention of writing the female images with the desires for “actual earnings”,“self-highness”,“square carnival”,“material consumption" and “body consumption” is to make people gain happiness in the process of indulging in these desires.This cultural value is synthesized by many factors,which reflects the resultant force of the economic value and social value and the material value and spiritual value.Fourthly,in the complicated speech power,reflect on the social and cultural background of the creation of Internet female images and their cultural values.The construction of internet female images and their values are always closely related to the economic development,urban prosperity,the improvement of mass education level,the change of social ideological trend,the development of media technology,etc,which have been “sculptured” by historic culture and “bound " by the spirit of the time,and is the outcome of " social” construction.After reviewing the traditional culture and looking around the current social culture,we can discover that the construction of internet female images and their values show the relic of “joy places”,the postmodernism culture popularity,and the influence of the consumer society,the features of new internet technology and commercialized development distinctly.Meanwhile,they are concerned with the lack of the rational value rationality of internet culture.Fifthly,explore the action strategy for reconstructing the internet female images after interpreting and reflection.In the face of the internet female images and the possible “butterfly effect” caused by the cultural values reflected by the images,we shall make effort to improve the ideological understanding,and try hard to seek a consensus,so as to fully play the role of the opinion leader to influence the netizens' attitude according to the law of communication studies.Concretely,we can improve the internet culture governance by guiding the internet supervision to a road of diversified cooperative governance,and perfect the legal institution of internet culture supervision by improving the legislation of internet culture and establishing a multiple-participant supervision mechanism.Meanwhile,we shall strengthen the internet culture construction by intensifying the guidance role of the socialist core values,playing the leading role of the elite culture,popularizing the gender equality education and seizing the speech initiative of the advanced gender.
