The International News Agency and the China Youth Journalists Institute are the two implementing agencies of Chinese Communist Party in the press. During the war, the CCP could not appear publicly in any name in the Kuomintang-controlled areas, so the International News Agency and the China Youth Journalists Institute became the news community platform and sounding mouthpiece of the CCP Kuomintang-controlled areas, which, over a period of time, cooperated with the Chinese Communist underground organization, building a tight but safe Communist journalist community in Kuomintang-controlled areas. In addition, under the efforts of Yun Yiqun,Fan Changjiang, Lu Yi and others, Southern Bureau set up the School of Journalism in Shanghai, Chongqing, Hong Kong and other places to ensure a steady stream of force in the news front. In order to fight effectively, the South Bureau Journalists is separated into three active fronts In the KMT- controlled area. The first front is the public Journalists of communism Party of China, who are always ready to sacrifice for the great cause. The second front is leaded by left- wing newspaper who organically to set foot on various newspaper press, and some of them even take full control of publishing news, which boosted the morale of the Communist Party of China; The third front are guided by the ones who hide their true identities. "Three line distribution, everywhere blossoming" strategy, not only improved the implementation of the policy of "hidden capability, waiting for the right time," but also greatly improved the security of the South Bureau newspaper work and adaptation to toughness. For the people of the Southern Bureau press, multiple identities and flexible newspaper publishing are just the means to join the revolution. Journalists' final goal is to devote as much as they can to the Communist Party of China.Day after the liberation, most of the South Bureau journalists have experienced ups and downs, their achievements in the news areas still shine brightly in the depths of the history. Their talents in newspaper publishing still pose a great effect upon today's press industry.
