Master of Free Normal Education is the short form of free normal graduates studying for master degree of education on-job.It is a new type of Master of Education,which embodies the extension and development of our country’s education policy for free normal students at the graduate level,and constitutes the system design for building a high-quality professional teaching team.Therefore,studying on the cultivation mode of Master of Free Normal Education conforms to the needs of the national education reform and the implementation of policy intentions.Bearing certain practical significance,the study also provides important ways to solve the existing problems of the cultivation mode of Master of Free Normal Education.This thesis centers on the connotation of talent cultivation mode:what kind of students to be cultivated and how to cultivate them.This thesis combs through the current situations and problems of the cultivation mode ofMaster of Free Normal Education in six normal universities,and conducts an empirical research and theoretical analysis by adopting research methods of questionnaire and interview.Combined with related theories,the study has an in-depth thought on how to improve the cultivation mode of Master of Free Normal Education,and proposes some strategies for solving the problems.This thesis consists of four parts.Part one is Introduction,which presents the background,significance and methodology of the research;combs through and comments on theprevious research;defines such core concepts as Master of Free Normal Education anditscultivation mode;and analyzes the possible innovations and deficiencies.Part two is Chapter one.It mainly sorts out the reference materials at home and abroad about emergence and development of free normal student education and master of education.It presents the generation background and the educational purpose ofMaster of Free Normal Education.It compares the similarities and differences among the cultivation mode of Master of In-service Education,Master of Full-time Education,Master of Pedagogy and Master of Free Normal Education.It also analyzes the composition of knowledge and ability of Master of Free Normal Education.Part three consists of Chapter two and Chapter three.On the basis of cultivation plan and the practical investigation of trainingof Master of Free Normal Education in six normal universities,the current state of cultivation mode of Master of Free Normal Education is investigated.The development needs of Master of Free Normal Education students are discussed through the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,which becomes the theoretical basis for summarizing the existing problems of cultivation mode of Master of Free Normal Education.It also analyzes the causes of cultivation mode problems of Master of Free Normal Education from following three aspects of which,Schools’ Internal,Schools’ External and Students’ Inherent.The fourth part is Chapter Four,which thinks about the improvement of talent cultivation model from theoretical perspective and proposes the specific suggestions on how to improve the cultivation mode of Master of Free Normal Education.
