The Clinical Research Of Tambac Incense Improving Depressive State

Objective: To discuss medicinal value of tambac, and observe the clinical effects of tambac incense in depressive state. providing a new method of treatment of depression by traditional chinese medicine.Methods: Using randomized controlled methods, 40 patients diagnosed with depressive state patients divided into treatment group and control group according to the proportion of 1:1. All the subjects were treated on the basis of treatment(psychological counseling, antidepressant drug treatment,basic diseases treatment), and blank control group, treatment group on the basis of foundation treatment to tambac incense. 2 weeks for a period of treatment, observation 2 period of treatment. Monitoring of the patient's clinical symptoms integral before and after the treatment, and the scoring scale, using SPSS statistical software for statistical analysis.Results: The clinical observation and statistical analysis show that post-treatment the treatment group in improving clinical symptoms, Center Epidemiological Studies of Depression(CES-D), hamilton depression scale(HAMD)was better than control group, P<0.05, with statistical significance. Before and post the treatment of hepatic, kidney function, electrocardiogram, blood routine, routine urine are no abnormal change.Conclusion: The method of tambac incense was obvious clinical efficacy on depressive state. The treatment group with CES-D and HAMD were improvedafter treatment, obtain a better clinical curative effect, which is regarded as a kind of effective method to cure depression.
