Research On Space Elements Of Daily Outdoor Sport Fitness Space

City daily outdoor sports & fitness space(DOSFS)is the foundation to carry out the national fitness campaign and daily outdoor fitness activities(DOFA),study on the various space elements which are closely related to DOFA in this space become the primary task of such space design.Promoting the DOFA in DOSFS is the aim of design,the national fitness campaign and DOFA can be promoted to consider the composition,evaluation,influence and design strategies of the space elements from the perspective of users.Firstly,Field investigation,composition survey and influence survey of space elements in Harbin are proceeded to get the present situation and the evaluation of the space elements from the users in DOSFS.Secondly,Principal component analysis(PCA)is used to established the composition of the space elements,include fitness facilities,accessibility,physical environment,auxiliary function,landscape design and maintenance& safety of the six primary domains and 42 secondary items.The evaluation tool of DOSFS(ET-DOSFS)is developed from elements composition and weight computing based on PCA,and is proved to be feasibility through the evaluation and analysis of the 8 space samples.Thirdly,Structural equation model(SEM)is established to analyze the generic common mode,climate-restricting common mode and personality mode which based on users’ background and the space types in DOSFS.The common influence mode of DOSFS reveals that six primary space elements all have effect on DOFA: fitness facilities and landscape design effect the Duration time and frequency of DOFA,accessibility,auxiliary function,and maintenance & security only has influence to the frequency of DOFA,the physical environment is only effect the Duration time.The climate-restricting common mode reveals that the affect of space elements on DOFA in the heating and nonheating seasons.The personality influence mode of DOSFS reveals that DOFA in DOSFS are moderated by the users’ background and the space types.Finally,the design strategies of space elements in DOSFS are presented and demonstrated in this paper,such as the general strategies from elements composition,the strategies from the common influence mode and the strategies from the personality influence mode which based on users’ background and the space types.The elements composition,ET-DOSFS,The influence mode and design strategies of DOSFS can provide guidance on the policies,management,planning and designing of DOSFS in Harbin and other similar cities.The methods and the analysis process of this study can provide reference and inspiration for other research on space elements in DOSFS.
