Research On Space And Construction Elements Of Recreational Business District

The concept of Recreational Business District (RBD) is firstly proposed on the base of tourist area’s development studies. Then it is expanded and completed during its course of development. As the economy grows, the Traditional Business District (TBD) is impacted at a certain extent by the residents’consumption habits and the increasingly various ways of life and entertainment. And the expressions of such influences on spatial elements fundamentally differentiate the RBD from the TBD. The development of the RBD not only reflects the urban social culture, but also embodies the residents’recreation and the service level of the tourism. Therefore, under the framework of the commercial space’s development, more and more cities are suggested to conduct an in-depth research on the relationship between the construction pattern of the RBD and the urban social culture.The research in this thesis is based on the commercial district which is formed and developed through the blossom of traditional commercial and tourism districts. Meanwhile by analysing the models of its spatial patterns, this paper, exploring the factors that aroused differences among recreational business districts in various cities, which are summarized below as economic development, city function, local living habits and objects of service.Throughthe actual research, it endeavors to comb a certain corresponding system between the RBD and the city type. Under the framework of the corresponding system and through an in-depth analysis of structure of the RBD, it discusses the constitutive elements of the space structure in the RBD.The corresponding relation between these elements on the city,with wheather has each structure,difference and the number to feedback the recreational on difference of business district.Finally,according to the actual project as the case of the construction of tourism urban recreational business district.To explain the spatial organization, elements selection characteristics.lt finally draws a conclusion upon the analysis on the RBD’s construction in different types of cities, as well as makes a further propose in the field.
