Along with the continuous development of science and technology, the content,dissemination and utilization of scientific information have changed, not only requiresestablishing the organic relationships between different languages, different carrierand different types of digital resources, but also needs revealing and linking the richsemantic informations, entities of knowledge resources, from various dimensions,ways and interfaces. However, compared with lots of practices and mature modes inforeign countries, the development of design and application of Chinese automaticsemantic annotation tool lags behind, due to the complexity of the Chinese semanticmeaning. Moreover, the current researches are mainly on theory and exploration stage,focus on a single dimension, such as the co-occurrence dimension, literature referencedimension. It’s short of explorations on digital resources aggregation frommultidimension, and could achieve the aggregation of homogeneous andheterogeneous digital resource networks.Supernetwork is composed of multiple types of network, the integration digitalresources form a complicated digital resources supernetwork, which has differentproperties of nodes and relations. These different relations and links provide clues forknowledge link, mining, discovery and innovation. Therefore,the theory and methodof supernetwork can be applied to the aggregation of digital resources. The thesisconcludes and analyzes the technology and methods of semantic annotation platformframework, combining with the comparative analysis of foreign mature tools, andintroduces the system development and the idea of modularization to construct themodel. The automatic semantic annotation system model includes system inputmodule, semantic processing module, ontology knowledge module, semantic tagging module and storage module. The overall algorithm thought and automatic labelingalgorithm of ontology thought are also analyzed, to provide references for theautomatic semantic annotation of digital resources. Then, based on the digital resourceentity elements which have been semantic annotation, combining with the theory andmethod of supernetwork, the thesis describes and builds the digital resourcessupernetwork, analyzes various types of relationships in the network, such asreference relation, co-occurrence relation, coupling relation, and discusses the modesof in-depth integration of digital resources from the relevant dimension. The thesisalso analyzes specific applications to knowledge discovery by using digital resourcessupernetwork, proposes the aggregation system model of digital resourcessupernetwork. Finally,the thesis carries out the experimental study, verifies theapplicability, advantage and innovation of digital resources aggregation based on thetheory and method of supernetwork.The main contents of the thesis are as follows.This first chapter introduces the research background,the theoretical andpractical significance, the main content, structure and research methods, andsummarizes the main achievements and innovations of the research.The second chapter analyzes the researches about digital resources aggregation,supernetwork and semantic annotation at home and abroad, summarizes and comparesthe status quo of these researches.The third chapter introduces the concept of supernetwork and semanticannotation, summarizes the theory of digital resources aggregation, supernetwork andthe theory and framework of semantic annotation, and analyzes the method ofbuilding digital resources supernetwork and the methods and tools of semanticannotation.The fourth chapter discusses the applicability of semantic annotation tool for theaggregation of digital resources,based on the analyses on characteristics of commonsemantic annotation tools. Then, it constructs the semantic annotation tool systemmodel for digital resources aggregation, and gives the key algorithm.The fifth chapter describes and builds three types of subnetwork and connections among them, which are on behalf of the three types of digital resources entities,namely copyright owner, knowledge and knowledge carrier, and proposes theassociated aggregation method of digital resources.The sixth chapter analyzes the semantic relations of digital resource system, putsforward the method and mechanism of in-depth aggregation of digital resources basedon supernetwork, explores the patterns of in-depth aggregation and the applications,and proposes the system model of in-depth aggregation of digital resources based onsupernetwork.The seventh chapter carries out the experiment to realize associated aggregationand in-depth aggregation of digital resources based on supernetwork, compares theresults with the aggregation method based on citation relations, verifies theapplicability, advantage and innovation of supernetwork aggregation method.The eighth chapter summarizes the main conclusions and innovations of thisthesis, discusses the insufficiency in the research, and forecasts the next step ofresearch.The thesis introduces the theory and method of supernetwork into the knowledgeorganization of digital resources, connects Library and Information Science andrelated disciplines with knowledge associations, enriches the theoretical system andtechnologies of Library and Information Science under the semantic web environment.The thesis also provides a practical operation method and technology for library andinformation institutes to organize and manage digital resources, expands theknowledge organization practices in Library and Information Science to a widernetwork domain.
