"Tibetan Home Visit" has become the most distinctive ethnic cultural tourism product of Shangri-La in Yunnan province. Tibetans in Shangri-La have explored and created the cultural performance named "Tibetan Home Visit" in the past decade. By means of carnival performance, it brings about the communication among different cultures. The carnival performance of "Tibetan Home Visit" has become the prominent product of cultural tourism in Shangri-La. These rich cultural fragments have been formed into an organic whole as the insertion of the carnival performance. Applied in new cultural production, the reconstructed Tibetan dwelling becomes the space which retains the basic elements of Tibetan household culture and it suits for mounting the cultural diversity and realizes cultural communication and integration.Basically in the process of globalization, the emergence and development of "Tibetan Home Visit" is the result of a dynamic game, in which the daily life of Tibetans has been transformed into a cultural product by means of rural tourism and this product is brought into capital operation. At the same time, it keeps drawing related bodies such as governmental organization, industry association, travel agencies, and tourists, etc. to take part in it. "Tibetan Home Visit" goes through several stages:start, development, setback, adjustment, and relative stability, etc. Problems appearing in "Tibetan Home Visit" should be solved from the following interactive perspective:geographical location and natural environment, social history and cultural background, external exchange and regulatory regime, religious belief and social changes et al. In a word, through the developmental practice of "Tibetan Home Visit", Tibetans will obtain more opportunities to develop and their related competence will be enhanced. Finally, both Tibetan people themselves and their society will be developed.The emergence and development of "Tibetan Home Visit" has changed its practitioners’ livelihood patterns that based on agriculture and animal husbandry. Tibetans occupy themselves with agriculture and animal husbandry and tourism industry at the same time. Some Tibetan farmers turned into practitioners of tourism industry; some employed themselves in their households and their sale of agricultural products has been changed into the sale of tourist souvenirs. These efforts extend the industrial chain of the village tourism products in Shangri-La; it broadens the market of characteristic tourism products for village tourism; it provides tourists with home visit to experience these consumption products; it helps the locals to find the most effective pattern to be well-off; it provides the folk artists who are good at singing and dancing with employing places; it widens the market for the photography industry. The development of "Tibetan Home Visit" makes the Shangri-La to form a complicated interest-related tourism product market in which the following related bodies such as operators, travel agencies, tour guides, and "Tibetan Home Visit" Association to get the real profits. Though there are some problems, it cannot be denied that it enriches the tourism products because tourists can consume at night. It effectively supplements the cultural landscape consumption. It increases the economic income of operators and employees. In the end, a colorful, high-qualified and high-level consumption village tourism market has been fostered.In the context of tourism development, the daily family life culture of Shangri-La Tibetans gains its economic value and the space of cultural significance is expanded. The brand-new cultural symbols and significance have been created and classified. Therefore, the new social relationship has been constructed. These symbols of Tibetan daily life run through the operation of "Tibetan Home Visit". Its development leads to the re-encoding of some Tibetan cultural symbols and the reconstruction of meaning. At the same time it indirectly results in the construction and extension of social relationship. "Tibetan Home Visit" demonstrates the colorful cultural symbols. On one hand these symbols manifest the uniqueness of Tibetan culture; on the other hand it highlights the cultural diversity between Tibetan people and other nationalities. Thus the performing cultural symbolic meaning and the transmutation of the symbols have been expressed. The encoding of "Tibetan Home Visit" cultural symbols and its meaning construction are based on the cultural self-confidence of Tibetans and the coordinating work in which tourists are anticipating. Depending on the cultural diversity, it highlights itself in the cultural market; it is gradually encoded and constructed in the process of diversified symbolic exhibition and the interaction of tourist culture. What the daily life symbols of "Tibetan Home Visit" exhibits and demonstrates is the Tibetan culture of Shangri-La. In the context of modern cultural tourism background, the Tibetan cultural resources have been transformed into cultural tourism products. In this process, it leads to the transition of family relationship. The emergence of "Tibetan Home Visit" Association is changing and adjusting the traditional social relation of Tibetan society. The flow of numerous tourists makes the social interaction between local Tibetans and the outside world be greatly promoted, and it also benefits the construction of the exchange platform among different nationalities.
