This article analyzes the lives and paintings of people in Qing Dynasty through the study of poems singing in Qing Dynasty, in order to study the phonomenon of narration and intoning in Qing Dynasty. This article studies poems in Qing Dynasty in detail. The introduction briefly introduces related studies, current studies, useful resources, and hypotheses.Ancient Chinese poems and paitings are related to each other, with a high level of inner relationship. Scholars in Qing Dynasty usually had good skill in poetry and painting. More importantly, the harmony between poems and paitings is a traditional expression of Chinese culture. This cultural atmosphere of such harmony is the foundation of the existence of narration and intoning in Qing Dynasty. The poems and paintings together determine the meaning of illustrating them. Since the activity of soliciting a title for a paiting was very popular and tastful among anciant schorlars, it is especially important to sutdy the lives and paintings of Qing scholars.Throughout the hundreds of years of Qing Dynasty, there were many masters in poetry and painting. Based on forfer literatures and historical resources, this article begins with Si Ren Zi Tu, and continues with eight other paitings, such as Gui Qu Tu, Jian Bie Tu, Dong Xuan Yin She Tu, Fen Hu Jiu Yin Tu, etc. We analyzes and illustrates them in detail with rich discussions on multiple levels, such as painting skills, history, customs, styles, literature developments, genres, etc. We tried to discuss on three aspects: the cu ltural meanings of the paintings, literature features of narration and intoning, and the inner experience of life of a Qing scholar, in order to draw the outline of the literary works and life experience of a Qing scholar, and to let the artistic achievements, the academic manner, and the individual characteristics of Qing scholars, especially scholars from south of the Yangtze River, reappear.
