| Biqiu is a rhinopathia of frequently sneeze nasal discharg nasal obstruction rhinocnesm-us. A lot of literatures record the method about treatment of TCM:drug treatment、acupunc-ture、injectio ad acumen、disallergization、immunizationtherapy、crymotherapy、laser、themotherapy. Eech treatment has own merit. This article research the patients with deficiency oflung QI in Singapore.We observe therapeutic effect between acupuncture and medicine. Certifytherapeutic effect of acupuncture.Research Objetives: To investigate the therapeutic effects of treating Biqiu lungs qi defici-ency (allergic rhinitis) by acupuncture and taking Nasal Obstruction Capsules.Research Method: This study uses acupuncture and taking Nasal Obstruction Capsules to treattwo groups of 50 lungs bi qiu qi deficiency (allergic rhinitis) cases collected from Zhong HwaMedical Institution Singapore since 2006-03-08 to 2007-03-08. There were random patientsdivided into treating group and control group. 50 cases in treating group treated with ac-upuncture according to TCM and 50 cases in treating group treated with taking Nasal Obstru-ction Capsules. The indexes were record before and after treatment. Adverse effects were alsorecorded.Results: The symptoms and physical signs of the illness was decreased after treatment. Totaleffective rate for acupuncture is 93％and taking Nasal Obstruction Capsules, 58％. The redu-cetions of symptomatic and physical signs for each group were significant (P＜0.05). Relative tothe taking Nasal Obstruction Capsules group, the therapeutic effect of acupuncture is signi-ficantly better (P＜0.05). |
