Professor Min Fanzhong, the fifth installment of the traditional chinese medicine academic experience inherited instructor, the clinical basic academic leader of Guangxi university of traditional chinese medicine, has engaged in clinical chinese medicine, teaching, researching for more than forty years. He is good at the treatment of exogenous diseases and miscellaneous diseases, especially expert in diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases. Professor Min also engaged in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases" decades of teaching, has deeply studied in four classics of traditional medicine which i ncludingTreatiseonFebrileDiseases, Huangdi’sInternalClassic, Synopsisof Pr escriptions of the Golden Chamber and Systematized Identification of Warm Diseases, forming his own academic style. This topic summarizes the academic thought and clinical experience of Professor Min Fanzhong.I treat acute coronary syndrome with Min Lao gan dan bing ji chu fang, which based on the experience of the application of Chai Hu ji, and observe Prognosis and quality of life in patients with acute coronary syndrome. This paper is discussed from the following aspects:1. To discusse the formation characteristics of academic thoughts of Professor Min Fanzhong, main academic thought and treatment characteristics, with the division of mind. Min’s academic thought formation characteristics:(1)Chinese culture, with the theory of traditional Chinese Medicine. Min has profound Chinese culture basis, and was affected deeply by it.Min thinks that there is no outstanding Chinese traditional culture and there is no good Chinese medicine, no foundation of traditional Chinese culture and can’t learn Chinese medicine.(2)Pays more attention to the classic and Follows the rules. To leran chinese medicine is based on leraning classic, and Min Follow the rules.(3)Widely adopts the strengths of others, and widely aspects the great ways of others. Min has open attitude, and thinks that effect is the hard truth, so not bounded in a style.Professor Min’s main academic thoughts are as follows:(1)Be faithful to the traditional Chinese medicine, but also the reference of Western Medicine. He thinks that it should be faithful to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, but can use modern medical theory, in order to improve the curative effect of traditional Chinese Medicine.(2)He advocated the combination of macroscopic and microcosmic syndrome differentiation. Macro dialectics has its advantages, but also its limitations.Micro differentiation deepen and complement the Macro differentiation. The combination of the two can improve the accuracy of treatment based on syndrome differentiation.(3)He paid more attention to classic prescriptionand and not abandon modern prescription. Min says that The effect is a hard truth, and classic prescriptionand and modern prescription are applicated by him.(4)He is more attention to spleen and stomach.Min especially praised Li Dongyuan.he is not only good at treating spleen and stomach disease, and also good at the treatment of miscellaneous diseases from spleen and stomach.(5)He stresses the harmonic method. Min is in pursuit of harmony. He stresses the harmony of qi and blood, aspiration and idea, cold and warm.(6)He attaches greater importance to physique. Min says that it is’ important to recognize the patient’s physique, which prevent disease, reduce the occurrence of disease, prevent the recurrence of the disease.(7) Miscellaneous diseases due to internal injury are treated from liver.regulating Liver and qi is one of the important methods of my teacher in treatment of miscellaneous diseases, and gan dan bing ji chu fang whice is self-maded by him is widely used in this type of disease.Professor Min’s medication characteristic as Follows:(1)He is good at the application of folk medicine.(2)He takes flexible, light dose.(3)His prescription is simple, convenient,low-cost, fulfilling.Three years experience with the teacher,my learning experience is as follow:(1)Takes Chinese traditional culture seriously, for example I recognize the basic pathogenesis of traditional Chinese medicine from ancient Chinese Perspective of coronary heart disease.(2)Read the classics,I seek it original sources and understand the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease.(3)1 admire the Min’s academic though of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine.(4)learning from his method, I use classical prescription Bupleurum combined min lao gan dan bing ji chu fang in the treatment of ACS.(5) Study on Application of Min’s folk medicine practices, I use Fu Fangteng in the treatment of coronary heart disease.(6)No parochial prejudice, I combines with traditional chinese medicine and western medicine to treat coronary heart disease.2. According to the literature retrieval of applying Chai Hu ji about Zhang Zhongjing<Treatise on Febrile Diseases>, before the Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern medical’s samples, it shows that the mature experience of ancient physicians and modern physicians have used Chai Hu ji agents for the treatment of heart disease. It is the subject of Chai Hu ji clinical observation on the treatment of acute coronary syndrome and provide theoretical and clinical basis,3. I analysed Professor Min’s experience in application of Chai Hu ji, and summarized in the following four aspects:(1)He lay stress on Correspondence of Prescription and syndrome, and point out one Correspondence corresponding to one syndrome.(2)clinical manifestation conforms to pathogenesis.(3)Prescription according to the Meridian positioning.(4)prescription according to Zang-Fu correlation.Professor Min is skilled in treating liver and gallbladder diseases, includes not only the narrow sense of liver and gallbladder diseases, including generalization sense of liver and gallbladder diseases. He developed Gan Dan bing ji chu fang, which was comed from the Zhang hongjing’s Chai Hu ji, and uses in the treatment of the generalization sense of liver and gallbladder diseases. It for the research with Min Lao basis of Hepatobiliary disease in treatment of acute coronary syndrome lays the theoretical foundation and clinical evidence and clinical experience.4. In the clinical observation part, Basing on Min Fanzhong’s academic thought and experience, combining with my own clinical experience, I apply Min lao gan dan bing ji chu fang in the treatment of ACs and also observe the clinical curative effect. Methods:To summary professor Min’s academic thoughts and clinical experiences through classical learning, literature research, learning with the mentor, organizing medical records, case summary and so on. And assess exercise tolerance(ET) and cardiac function(CF) by using cardiopulmonary exercise test(CPX).As the observation indexs, metabolic equivalents (MetS), the largest public pounds of oxygen uptake (V02max/Kg), and anaerobic threshold (AT) were used to observe Chaihu decoction’s effect on exercise tolerance(ET) and cardiac function (CF)in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS), and then evaluated Chaihu decoction on acute coronary syndrome(ACS)prognosis. And used self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) and assess negative emotions before and after the intervention.I evaluate prognosis of ACS according to GRACE risk, score and the test of NT-proBNP before and after treatment of ACS.Results:After 3 weeks of treatment, there were significant difference between the Chaihu decoction group and the control group in metabolic equivalents (METs), maximal oxygen uptake per kilo(VO2max/Kg), Self rating anxiety and depression score, GRACE risk score, The value of NT-proBNP, and anaerobic threshold(AT). (p<0.05).Conclusion:Chaihu decoction is effective to improve the exercise tolerance(ET) and cardiac function(CF) in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS), which is worthy of further study.
