Being knowledgeable and good at innovation makes him originate a system of unique academic ideology. This research will look for the root of professor Yang’s clinical academic theory during the 30 years and study deeply in his literature and theory. It is possible to abstract academic theory with directive function for clinic. I summarized the clinical experience of professor Yang and selected 80 patients with lumbar disc herniation randomly to inspect the result of studying by comparing the clinical efficacy of the Yang’s promoting blood circulation and strengthening the kidney acupuncture method with ordinary acupuncture method.This research has 3 parts.1.The outline of original academic thought in Professor YangYang Jun had been a teacher stay in college and work with famous inland professors of acupuncture as Gao Xingzhu, Zhou Meisheng and Zhou Yiping about acupuncture theory till 1990s since he graduated in 1982 from Anhui College of TCM. Then he has been engageing in clinical works. I found his academic theory succeeded to Xin’an Medical Sect by reading his article and communicating with him.2. The summary of Yang’s academic thought and clinical experienceYang Jun perseveres in TCM business. His extensive experience in teaching and clinic played a decisive role in his academic idea formation which can be summarized as four aspects:(1). should to ask old adages frequently, inherit and innovate them;(2). should to change acupuncture methods by following eight principal syndrome differentiation;(3). should to forge ahead and possess both talent and ability;(4). should to keep in mind of being a respected doctor and support later generations.His clinical experience is mainly manifested in the following eight aspects:(1). spirit adjusting is the first place in acupuncture therapy;(2). comprehensive analysis by the four methods of diagnosis in differentiation of diseases and syndromes;(3). advocating treatment specification and evolving to change in clinical;(4). moxibustion can usually be effective miraculously;(5). using both acupuncture and Chinese medicine for stubborn diseases;(6). having great originality in selecting specific acupoints;(7). paying attention to adjust Conception and Governor vessels to balance Yin and Yang;(8). having unique technique in using acupuncture needles.He also has distinct opinions for the etiology, pathogenesis and treatment of lumbago, epicophosis, tinnitus, gonitis, megrim and facial disorders.3.Clinical study on treatment of Lumbar Disc HerniationThrough knowledge network database summarizing progress of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of lumbar disc herniation.According to the summary that compared the Yang’s promoting blood circulation and strengthening the kidney acupuncture method with ordinary acupuncture method on a long-term basis, patients got good results by doing acupuncture. Objective:To observe the efficacy of the treatment of lumbar disc herniation by using the Yang’s promoting blood circulation and strengthening the kidney acupuncture method. Methods:80 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. Treatment group consisted of 40 patients who were treated by the Yang’s acupuncture therapy. Control group consisted of 40 patients, they were treated by conventional acupuncture method. We evaluated the curative effects before and after treatment by lumbocrural pain Visual Analogue Scale, The evaluation table for lower back pain patients and the detection of the straight leg-raising. Result:The cure rate of the treatment group was 50.0%,the total effective rate was 97.5%; Comparatively, the control group were 32.5% and 87.5%.The Wilcoxon rank test showed us the result. The comparison of the cure rate showed that:Z=-4.688, P=0.01;The comparison of the total effective rate showed that Z=-6.683, P=0.01; After comprehensive comparing of the two groups, we found that the efficacy of the treatment group is better than the control group. Conclusion: The efficacy of the Yang’s promoting blood circulation and strengthening the kidney acupuncture therapy is better. |
