The Study On The Academic Thoughts Of Longjiang Medical School In Binjiang Province During The Puppet Manchukuo Period

Longjiang Medical School is a young TCM scholarism clique which is rising in north of China during modern times. Journal of Harbin Chinese Medicine Research Institute started publication in1937,and changed its name to Binjiang Provincial Chinese Medical Journal in1940(both of them in the following are referred to as Journal).Journal attracted numerous famous doctors in puppet Binjiang province to explore new knowledge and study medicine.The papers in Journal are precious materials to fill the blank in the academic research of puppet Manchukuo TCM.Object:To study the academic thoughts of Longjiang Medical School in Bingjiang province during the puppet Manchukuo period.Method:Collected the puppet Binjiang provincial publication of TCM with investigation method and literature method,then classified them.It searched out doctors identity proof from53Journals with literature method and thinking method to determine the study scope and sifted Binjiang provincial doctor’s theses.Finally it extracted Binjiang provincial TCM doctors’overall academic ideas with descriptive research method,comparative analysis and experience summary method.It also analysised the social and natural reasons for the academic features and the inevitability of Longjiang Medical School with interdisciplinary study method.Conclusion:Gao Zhongshan and some other doctors in Binjiang province gave Longjiang Medical School birth basing on Journal in the puppet Manchukuo period.Some doctors with firm knowledge background in Binjiang province made Journal as teaching material and made contributions to consolidate the other doctors’TCM theory basis in Binjiang province. The doctors in Binjiang province were objective to efficacy rather than rules in treating miscellaneous internal diseases,acuter febrile diseases and gynecological diseases.They had many insights into syndrome differentiation-based treatment in all the subjects.They also had many ideas in making mutual understanding of the theory and clinical medicine of TCM and western medicine,as well as in combining them,so as to provided thoughts for the modern development of TCM and western medicine combination.They made full communication and promoted each other in Journal,so that TCM practitioners in puppet Binjiang province united and Longjiang Medical School’s prototype formed.They arranged the TCM terminology and clinical prescription spontaneously,in order to laid the foundation for unifing and arrangement work of the TCM terms and clinical standards.The tips they made in infectious disease prevention can be referenced today.
