Schedule management in the engineering project is regrad as the key factor for the project success, and rationally planning of every construction activity on the logic and time can utilize limited rescouces effectively, reduce waste and finish the constrution in time guaranteed with both quality and quantity. Due to the more complexity of modern engineering projects, traditional schedule management cannot meet the need of the engineering project management and the prolonged schedule is prevailing. In this context, schedule management innovation applied emerging information technologies toward the collaborative construction is significant for the theory and the practice of the engineering project. After reviewing and analyzing relevant research literatures, this thesis researches the engineering project schedule management toward the collaborative construction through using methods such as combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, combining normative study and empirical study, appling the knowledge of the engineering project management theory, information fusion theory, rough set theory, fuzzy theory and some other knowledge of the natural and social sciences and so on.With the analysis of research literatures related to the collaborative construction, this thesis defines the concetp of the collaborative construction and explains the major contents(the information collaboration and stakeholders collaboration) in details. According to the collaborative construction concept, this thesis explains the connotation and contents of the engineering project schedule management toward the collaborative construction which is considered charaecteristics of schedule management. Also the thesis clarifies the research boundaries and contents. Furthermore, the theory framwork is established by using information fusion theory, rough set theory, fuzzy theory, ubiquitous computing, BIM technology and so on.The schedule informaton integration model is eatablished toward the collaborative construction, and the process is implemented thourgh information collection, information standardization and information fusion. The concept of the schedule context information is defined by using context-aware, and the types of schedule context information are analyzed, and the acquiring methods for the different schedule context information are explained. The expression of the schedule information is realized by establishing the shcedule context information model which is based on the IFC standard. By using D-S evidence theory, the information fusion rule for the schedule context information is made, and the accurate information for the schedule state estimation is acquired.Characteristics of the schedule optimization are analyzed in the complex modern engineering project, such as incomplete information, multi-stakeholder, preference, multiple targets, dynamics, real-time and so on. From the perspectives of time and space, the complexity of the schedule optimization is analyzed. For characteristics of the schedule optimization, such as incomplete information, multi-stakeholder, multiple targets and so on, the dominance-based rough set theory is used to analyze the relationship between the schedule optimization and the constraint conditions(such as resources, the cost, the construction period and so on). Then the collaborative optimization rules are acquired. For the interest conflict among multistakeholders in the schedule optimization, the schedule collaborative optimization model is established using Subordinate structure, which is based on the optimization rules. The model solution is acquired by using the differential evolution algorithm and co-evolution model of species group density.Based on production rules of artificial intelligence theory, the inference of the schedule collaborative control is designed, which is realized by using RETE algorithm. Then the forecast of the schedule variance is analyzed by using fuzzy inference theory in the uncertainty environment, and the inference process is designed. Because of the schedule variance, a schedule collaborative adjustment model is established by using fuzzy dynamic programming which is combined with the multi-stakeholder collaborative evaluation.Finally, this thesis researches the application of methods in a engineering project. According to the actual situation of the schedule management, the shcedule information integration, the schedule collaborative optimization and the schedule collaborative control of the project are analyzed respectively.In the research of the engineering project schedule management toward the collaborative construction, a variety of theories and methods are used, which can enrich and expand the theoretical system of the engineering project schedule management. The research of information collection, information standardization and information fusion can be helpful to promote the real-time schedule information processing and provide information support for the schedule optimization and the schedule control; the method of the schedule optimization based on the collaboration among multi-stakeholder and multi-target can be helpful to improve the satisfaction of the schedule optimization in the actual engineering project; the introduction of inference base on production rules and fuzzy rules can helpful to perfect the schedule control methods and meet the control requirements in the complex engineering project.
